Ira: Oh, my dear, I don't know what I would do without you ... I asked you for medications and food. Do you remember, I told you that if I do not give a sedative to my daughter, she raises her hand to me, hits me, and she cries and says: “Mom, I don’t want to do it, it’s not me.” And now she has calmed down! Just a pill, but what a salvation!

- What do you remembered the most? Maybe you remember the names of the people who helped you?

Ira: I’m old, I don’t remember names ... There was a boy who brought lots of potatoes! Matrona was so happy! They often ask me about you, from what fund you are, but I am old, I don’t remember, I say that you are from the kindest fund! With the kindest people!

– Did the local government somehow react to our post? Did they ask about your condition and did they help you with anything?

Ira: We don’t exist for them, dear. They would have asked before you, if they wanted to. I have asked them a thousand times to fix my roof. When it rains or winds, Matrona gets scared, she screams and cries. Water pours into the house, and pieces of wood fall off ... I'm afraid that one day the house will fall apart like a house of cards.

- Tell me about your emotions.

Ira: Here I sit and cry ... For many years now, I have no emotions left except tears. Now my tears gutter down again. But these are different tears - tears of happiness. You understand, don’t you? Oh, old me, I say incomprehensible things. But I haven't been so happy for a very long time!

- Which of the gifts did you like the most?

Ira: Oh, dear, look what refrigerator they brought us instead of the old one! I didn't even know that there were refrigerators like this! And they brought an iron! Perhaps you will ask me why an old woman needs the iron? Give me an ear, I'll say it in a whisper (Ira puts her hands to her lips). You know, Matrona is sometimes like a little child, doesn't feel when she needs to go to the toilet. I often have to wash her underwear. Sometimes it does not have time to dry. I'll iron it, and my unfortunate girl will be fine!

- What does this support and help mean to you?

Ira: It feels like God is here again! That he didn't leave me! That I shouldn't lose faith and hope. And you know, I have been always afraid that when God takes me, my Matrona will be left alone, that no one will take care of her. Now I see what kind people live in Georgia! God bless them!
