This family needs clothes the most. Clothe them, and your soul will be enveloped with God's blessings!

Miracles happen, now I know it for sure!

 - Tamro and me prayed in a whisper all night. Let it be a bicycle, let it be a bicycle...and a miracle happened, you brought it! - five-year-old Gabriel is jumping up and down with joy around the bike, the very much wished-for.

I wish you could only see his eyes when we took his dream out of our car a week ago! Instead of screaming of excitement he burst into tears. “It is big, so big,” - are the only words the little fellow managed to utter and he passed his trembling hand across the leather seat.

It’s true, miracles happen and there are you, our faithful friends, who work those miracles! Together we bring joy to so many disadvantaged people! Today our support and love opened the door of the house of the Godadzes.

We recently told you a story about joyless days of a big and friendly family in our publication “Such good people and so much grief ...!”

https://chernovetskyifund.ge/en/projects/finished/565-godadze/description/#content

The desperate parents of three children, 38-year-old Sofiko and 61-year-old Vazha Godadze begged for help, their children were growing up in unbearable need: rotten walls, rusted beds, torn clothes, dampness. The family man used to work hard to earn their daily bread, and thanks to that the family somehow managed to make ends meet. But a year ago Vazha got his leg broken and the family was left without any means to live.

When we published an article about the Godadze family, the miracle happened! The friends of the Fund learned about the troubles of those people and the most cherished dreams of 9-year-old Natia, 7-year-old Tamara (Tamro), 5-year-old Gabriel and their parents - came true!

 - The kids are so happy of your gifts! Joy settled at our home! And the bicycle became a real miracle! Natia, Tamar and Gabriel don’t even take it out into the street, they are afraid of scratching it. It’s too big for the younger kids, and it rolls over all the time. They learn to ride it in the room in order not to spoil your present. They dared to take it out only for your photo session.

And the beds! The children found one more use for the beds - during the daytime it turns into a trampoline, and at night it’s a usual bed for the three of them. Finally, my kids have got a comfortable bed, they used to fit somehow - the three of them - on an old dilapidated metal bed.

- Sofiko, tell me, how your life changed after we published the article about you?

- First of all, our attitude toward the world has changed! It is so important to know that life is not over yet, that we do not only need one another, but that other people also need us - they think about us, and they support us in hard times. Thank you for that! It is all thanks to you!

So many people came here with presents! They brought food, clothes for children. They came from different regions and villages. God will reward them for their kindness and care, and we pray asking God to repay our new friends for their mercy - a hundred times as much.

- Is there anybody you remembered the most? Do you remember their names?

- I remember most of all the pupils of one of the schools from Gori and their teacher Ketino. They were so joyful, and they made my children happy! They spent almost the whole day here. There was so much laugh in our house! The children played, sang and competed: who knew more poems. And Ketino had fun and laughed along with the children. She was so positive and full of life! God bless them!

They came during the New Year holidays and brought so many presents! Food, clothes, stuff for drawing - albums, pencils, coloring books. It was so sad to say goodbye to them. But we keep this day in our hearts, it is one of the happiest memories!

- Sofiko, was there any response to our article from the local authorities? Did they react in any way?

- No response followed from their side. We keep appealing to them with only one request - to help us to repair the roof of our house - but all in vain. We expected them to grow a conscience after reading your article, but alas... Maybe the new article will work somehow.

You know, that a member of parliament, Sofio Kiladze, responded to your post on Facebook! She transferred 100 GEL to our account! We did not contact her in person, but her representative called us and informed us about the transfer and also gave us kind regards from Mrs. Sofio. I was so happy! I asked him to say her many thanks on behalf of our family and me and give her my kind regards too.

- Sofiko, what does this support and help mean to you?

- It made me believe in a better future, believe that our family has not to withstand the difficulties alone. And the children started to believe in miracles! Because it was yesterday when they did not even dream about soft new beds, a drawer where they could put their clothes, and the bicycle was just out of question. Because the children can see in what a hard situation their family is, that we have no money even to buy food.

And now the miracle happened! All their dreams came true! It’s all thanks to you!

Gabriel (5-year-old): I can’t wait anymore! May I hug you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is so cool having our own bicycle! We do not have to ask and beg anybody to let us use theirs! I will learn to ride it well and will race with my neighbors!

- What other presents did you like, Gabriel?

- The beds! They are so soft to sleep on and so good to jump on!

- Jump? Do you jump on them?

Don’t worry, but yes, it’s like a trampoline! It’s a fun!

Tamro (7-year-old): Don’t be afraid, we will not ruin them, we jump very carefully. Mom also keeps saying: “Be careful, don’t spoil the mattresses”, so we try to “be careful”

Do you know, what else we like? The drawer you brought. Now all our clothes are nicely folded and stored there, and they are not put in the corner, as it was before. Because the girls should have everything nicely in order. Well, and the boys too.

- We are so glad that we have pleased you and that you are happy! Natia, why do you keep quiet?

Natia (9-year-old):Tamro and Gabriel are chattering so much, it is impossible to get a word in. I’d like to say many thanks to all of you for taking care of mom and all of us! Now we have a washing machine and it will be much easier for her to wash, because she used to wash with hands in ice-cold water from the well.

- I believe that from now you will have only joyful moments in your life, since you have so many new friends!

- Sofiko, maybe you have some more issues that our readers can help you to sort out?

- I am not sure if I can ask for more, especially since the local authorities should deal with this issue, but still our biggest problem is the leaky roof. When it rains, water pours into the rooms too. We can’t use one room at all, because it gets flooded. We sleep and eat in the other room, we’ve put the beds and the table in the corners not to let them get wet.

I feel awkward talking about that, but maybe there is somebody who can help to sort out this problem?

We will try to deal with the rest by ourselves. But you have done a very important thing - you gave us back the belief in kindness and good people! Now we know - miracles happen!

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on FB, or better dial the number of any of our beneficiaries. Call them and you will forget about your problems. Because they are nothing in comparison to the problems of those to whom you opened your good hearts and came to help at most difficult moments of their life.

Our problems are noting if compared... Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now... Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, talk to them. Every time you dial the phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!

Your kindness is a chance for yourself to be happy in everything!

Friends, thanks again to all!
