Nata (12 years old): Sometimes I close my eyes tightly, put my hands together and pray quietly. I imagine I can walk, run, visit my friend by myself and we go to church together! What if ... I would paint myself without a wheelchair. Without these wheels! Doctors say that I won’t be able to walk. And what do you think? I believe - God will hear me! Doesn’t he help kind little girls?

God made my dream come true!

When we approached the house to see with our own eyes how the life of these unfortunate people has changed after the publication of a post about their grief (https://chernovetskyifund.ge/en/projects/662-rokva/), it seemed that 12-year-old Nato already knew about our arrival in advance ...

She waited for us!  She knew that only we could believe in her story. Indeed, adults rarely believe in miracles and the fulfillment of the most cherished dreams - as it happens in fairy tales. But this is not about the employees of the Chernovetskyi Fund - we see the miracles that happen almost every day - thanks to your kindness, and we rejoice for others like children...

And today a miracle happened: hope settled in the hearts of this unfortunate family, especially in the heart of a girl who is seriously ill!

The house has become more comfortable, the mother is busy in the kitchen while 12-year-old Nato is watching a movie on their new plasma TV ...

“It feels like a new stage in our life has begun, we hope that everything can still improve, and this is only your merit - the merit of the people who are merciful and never remain indifferent! Many thanks to you! " - the grateful young mother Ia does not cease to chatter.

Nato now has a laptop that lets her to attend online lessons and chat with friends.

- How did your life change after our publication?

Ia: You want to know how our life has changed after that? It changed a lot! Our life has been full of pain, despair and fear for the past 12 years... But in these few months you have brought us back to life! How sad it used to be to spend all our time in these four walls, but now our new TV takes the most honorable place in the center of the room. It has very bright colors and loud sound. This is the way I spend my evenings: I watch TV shows and dream of a better life, where my daughter is healthy and knowing no need. And for Natochka, the laptop was a real surprise! Now we no longer miss online lessons, my daughter communicates with her friends.

- Has she attended the online lessons before that?

Ia: No, she has not, and she has not communicated with her peers either. And I always wanted her not to be isolated. Nata is a teenager like the others. But it is only now, thanks to your kind readers, she got the opportunity to communicate. It’s thanks to their help, we no longer have problems with diapers - we cannot do without them. The meager pension we survive on is barely enough for food ... And I will not stop thanking you for making my dream - a washing machine - to come true! With all my ailments and sores, daily washing in cold water, and waiting for days for the laundry to dry in this dampness afterwards, used to be a real trial for me! Thank you, my dear ones!

Nato spends evenings watching TV: she loves watching concerts, movies and cartoons.

A new washing machine is her mother’s best helper. The child is happy when his mother has enough rest.

- Ia to whom of the thousands of ordinary Georgians who responded to your grief, would you like to say the biggest thanks? Maybe you remember the names of those who helped you?

Ia:  I remember the most the very first call from an unknown woman. As it turned out later, she read a post about us on the Fund's page in the social network. At that time, I did not know that our story had already been published. Tamila is an unhappy mother like me, her child who suffers cerebral palsy is confined to a wheelchair for ever. She talked to me for a long time, gave me advice and consoled me. She also said that while praying for her child, she would ask God for healing for my Nata. She is socially disadvantaged too, but she sent us pasta and butter. I am telling you that, and my body trembles...  How can I forget this?

- We are happy too that there are so many good people in the world!(Friends, this is the answer to the question of many of those who can hardly make ends meet: how can I help? You can help with just words coming from your heart! And it sometimes worth more than a refrigerator, TV, and other things put together.) Were there many kind words and deeds, Ia?

Ia: I remembered everyone who supported me - just calling me, or coming to visit my daughter, or bringing us something ... I remember a couple, Elene and Lasha, who brought us food. I remember three soldiers: Dato, Levan and Irakli, who brought books and sweets for Nato. All those gifts that the Fund handled us were made by complete strangers. How can I single anyone out? God bless all of them!

200 GEL pension is barely enough to buy food, but Nato badly needs hygiene items as well...

- Ia, was there any feedback from the local authorities? Maybe they provided you any help?

Ia: Unfortunately, there was no response from them. They disqualified us for the status of a socially disadvantaged family, and now the only help we get from the state is a meager pension and food coupons for a child. If not for you, I don’t know what would have happened to us.

- Ia, please, calm down, we are by you! Have you expected such a response from strangers? What have you felt?

Ia: It is difficult for me to answer. I hoped, but at the same time I was afraid that nothing would work out. It is not because I do not believe in the kindness of people - on the contrary, I have a lot of examples in my life when they showed compassion to Nata and helped us ... But now is such a difficult time that everyone survives as best he can. I hoped for support, but I could not even dream that it would be so huge. And my emotions were so diverse - shock, tears, and joy... I could not believe for a long time that all this was happening to us. That’s why I am saying: You brought us back to life. The Fund gathered the most caring people around itself to help those who fell into despair because of troubles and suffering!

- Ia, you are so emotional telling me about a support that kind people provided to you. What does this help mean to you?

Ia: You know, recently, at some point, it started seeming to me that my child and I were left all alone in this world facing illness and poverty. I felt myself empty and exhausted. But the worst thing was that Nata seeing my despair, gave way to despair too.  I just could not help it, my tiredness and health problems manifested themselves... You brought me back to life exactly when I started sinking to the bottom. As Tamila told me: "I am a mother, and that says it all!" I must, I can, and I will do my best for the sake of my child's smile! And I am not alone, there are hundreds and thousands of people with a huge heart by me who will not let my girl die. Thank you for making me believe and hope again!

- Ia, I would like to talk to your daughter. Nato, did you like the presents?

Nato (12 years old): Once I saw a dream that they gave me a laptop. My mother told me then that the dreams do not come true, and I answered her that if you really want to, then everything will come true. I was right! Mom says that it was God who sent good people to help us. I think it is so - my mom never deceives me. Now I talk a lot to my friend, attend online lessons and draw. Probably the laptop is my best friend! I really like the TV, but the laptop is only mine, and it is cooler than any TV, the whole world is in there!

Nato is grateful to all good people, thanks to them she has now the best laptop in the world!

"I am not alone anymore, here is my whole world!”

- Nato, you are so smart! I am sure you will have great success in drawing! Ia, let us continue our conversation. Are there any problems left that our readers could help you with? What do you need most of all?

Ia: I am embarrassed to ask you for anything else, you have already done a lot to us. If anybody will decide to help us, my family will be grateful for anything - for your kind words and any help... As you can see, we live in dire need, so we will be grateful for anything - for foodstuffs, household chemicals, clothes. One more problem -  there is neither an elevator, nor a ramp in our house, the entrance is not adapted for people like Nato. Every time you need to expend so many efforts to take the child out. It’s a torment both for her and for us. You can’t do it without someone else's help. We begged the town hall to help us but they refused funding us. I beg you, maybe someone can help us and facilitate for installation of the ramp? My heart hurts when Nato, seeing how hard it is for me and her dad to take her out for a walk, starts to console me - she says that one day she will learn to fly, and she will no longer need any wheelchair. This is how we live, my dear ones. I am very grateful to each of you for your big heart, where there was a place for my child too!

***

Dear friends, the Rokva family is experiencing a very hard time, because their 12-year-old daughter Nato is sick and needs special care and treatment, and they do not even have enough money for food. Once we managed to unite and help these unfortunate people. I believe that we will manage to support our compatriots again! They will be happy for any help: food, diapers, clothes, but the most important thing is to help them to install a ramp so that the girl can more often get outdoors from her room.

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better dial the number of any of our beneficiaries. Call them and you will forget about your problems. Because they are nothing in comparison with the problems of those to whom you opened your good heart and came to help in the most difficult moment of their life.

Our problems are noting if compared... Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now... Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!

Your kindness is a chance for yourself to be happy in everything!
