  This tiny girl, who suffers from congenital cerebral palsy, was abandoned by her father, leaving her without a roof over her head! Such a wretched act of the father could not but affect the health of the child, which worsens every day, acquiring the most severe forms.

The child is bleeding! ICP, epilepsy and microcephaly are aggravated by gastric ulcer, which bleeds and makes the living of the young creature unbearable.

Thank God, there were kind people and huge thanks to them from all of us who despite their own need couldn't ignore the trouble of these children and showed a high civic stand! After all, the mother has another son – a 10-year-old David.

 Friends, take a good look at this picture, at this depressing face of a little angel. Any person's heart would tremble from this picture, as the girl's life hangs in the balance and is about to end!

  Poor mother does not know how to cope with this trouble alone and begs God to send her good people to help!

  We talked to Shorena, the child’s mother and asked her to share her problems and experiences with us.

  – Tell me please, what is the child’s state of health at the moment?

  Shorena: Very bad. Epileptic seizures have increased, the liver is practically non-functioning, stomach ulcer is bleeding, there is blood from the mouth, and not only from the mouth... every day it gets worse and worse…

  – How's the treatment going?

  Shorena: There is just no treatment! The girl needs examination to find out the exact cause of the bleeding. But I don't have the money to pay. Still I managed to make one examination. But this is not enough. We need to continue the course of examination.

 – And what's your income?

  Shorena: – I receive a pension and a social allowance in the amount of 460 lari. To do the survey, I took the social allowance for 3 months in advance and paid 700 lari. I don't know how to live now. Now I have almost no money to buy medicines and food…

  – Does the mayor's office help you?

  Shorena: 4 times a year it allocates funds for medicines – from 100 to 200 lari. However, this is a miser. That's all their help! However, your Fund helps. The child is a beneficiary of the Home Care Program. Thank you so much for not forgetting about us, caring for my girl, giving us hope. May God give you all the best and success in your work!

  – It is incredibly hard to take care of a sick daughter and at the same time to raise a 10-year-old son. How do you manage this?

  Shorena:  Only with God's help! I am a believer and I pray constantly for the health of my children. Fortunately, there are good people around me who help as much as possible. Otherwise we'd starve to death. Familiar refugees let us into their apartment in this hostel. We are very grateful to them for that. As you can see, this is a tiny room where there is no bathroom, but thank God there is a roof over our head!

 – What are you dreaming about?

  Shorena:  to be honest, I have forgotten what the word "dream". For me now the main thing is my children. It is impossible to cure my sick daughter, but it is possible to prolong her life. Lord, send us good people who will share our pain and help us!

  Friends, as you can see, the life of this family is an existence full of sadness and grief, concerns and hopelessness. Unfortunately, as it often happens, our authorities do not seem to notice people who are in misery and need help! The Ministry of Health has a vicious practice when socially unprotected people are denied funding for surveys, which leads to the death of these people.

  But if the authorities are silent and inactive, we cannot sit idly by. This family needs medicines, hygiene products, food and a washing machine. Human attention is also very important.
