On May 3, World run –the largest charity event in the world sports history –
will be held for the second time in Kakheti, from Lopota Lake along the
Caucasian Ridge.
On May 3, 2015 thousands of people from 33 countries will unite again to
make Spinal cord injuries curable.
More than 5000 people in Georgia were registered to participate in the World
Run; more than 600 of them are foreigners from 35 different countries. They
could register till April 26, but due to expiration of the limit it was canceled 12
days before the World Run. Registration fee was 20 GEL.
2 winners were revealed. They were given an opportunity to participate in the
World Run in 2016 in any country of the world that they would choose. The
global champions received an exclusive tour around the world as a present.
The raised money was completely transferred to the Fund Wings for Life that
conducts medical and clinical researches for treatment of spinal cord injuries.
Organizational groups of Wings for Life and Red Bull ensure transfer of the raised
money to the Fund of Wings for Life by EMS (European Merchant Services).
