An Activist of "Free Zone" and the "National Movement", 22- year-old David Khifiani had been killed in Kiev with a sniper's bullet. He was transferred to Tbilisi on February 22 at night. His body was met at the airport by his friends, politicians and ordinary citizens. David Kiphiani left a wife and baby.

David Kiphiani was a member of Euromaidan Public Defenders detachment and participated in demonstrations started in the center of Kiev since last year.
