International Association "Women of Georgia for Peace and Life" organize a charity event. They visited people with restricted abilities in settlement Lentekhi and gave them wheelchairs, as well as provided socially unprotected families with humanitarian aid.

The members of the Association visited the beneficiaries wishing 11 standard and 5 active wheelchairs in different villages of Lentekhi Region (Nanari, Tsanashi, Shkedi, Rekhmeluri, Maza, Lesema). The wheelchairs of the beneficiaries from remote villages will be distributed by the Heads of Administration and Council Deputies.

Besides, the employees of the Association handed clothes and food stuff to 7 socially unprotected families (with less than 70000 rating points). Among them were families with many children (with 4, 5, 8 children, most of them were disabled – Down Syndrome, diabetes, cerebral spastic infantile paralysis, blind).

In September it is planned to bring the brigade of doctors to examine the population. The people in need will become medicines as well.
