Every day our nurses take care of 500 bed-ridden people. Cecause of immobility some of them have bedsores – open, non-healing wounds, which are very painful and make them uncomfortable. Our colleagues are for them the only connecting link to the world outside.
A month ago, we announced about an action for medications and means for wound treatment procedures (Betadine, Levomekol, hydrogen peroxide, Uznadze-Mchedlishvili ointment). http://goo.gl/ACNtAE
Many of you were touched by the problems of single and poor people. Some brought the medications to our office, some transferred money… Those, who could help financially, suggested making their contribution in care of the elderly people free of charge. We would like to thank you all in the name of those people for whom you made life easier with your assistance.
