“Salome is talking! - her brother Dachi gives me the first news. - She was silent for five years, and now she says “mom” and “dad”. These words are about our little beauty Salome, who was on the verge of life and death 21 times. She didn't move, she didn't eat, and passed out from terrible epileptic attacks:

- Tamila, I congratulate you and all of us on the wonderful news! I have a feeling we are in for lots of good news today. 

Tamila: I am so happy that I addressed your Fund! For so many years I've been puzzling over how to treat my daughter. And now there is a way out. One of your readers - Tsitsino Tavartkiladze -responded and gave us vitamins produced in Canada. They are based on Aloe Vera and royal jelly. They had a great effect on Salome! Every day the baby changes for the better.

 For 10 months now we have been living without epilepsy attacks! This is for a first time! I was always on edge and stressed out before. I was always waiting for a seizure and didn't know where to run, what to do when it happened. We were afraid of a fever a little over 37, because the child had convulsions and then hell began! But recently, a week ago, Salome had a cold, and she got through a temperature of 38 without any problems.

- It's so great that our baby is getting better! Did you also go for exams, what do the doctors say now?

Tamila: Thanks to the readers of the Fund, we were examined by Georgian doctors and went to a clinic in Turkey for a consultation. We went there one month and a half after we started taking vitamins. Salome had very good tests. The doctor was very happy and advised us to continue the course for another year and three years to achieve the maximum results.

 When Salome took other vitamins, everything was washed out, nothing was left in her body. Only some 2%. It's different now. We took scan of her brain - one epilepsy focus is gone, and the other is completely reduced. Before, there were two nasty black spots on the scans...

- What did you feel when Salome said "mama" for the first time in her life?

Tamila: I cried with happiness. It was very unexpected. I was feeding her, and I was too late to give her the next spoonful - I was thinking about something. Suddenly I heard it in syllables: ma-ma, ma-ma, ma-ma... She wanted to say: "Keep feeding me" (smiles).

Dachi (8-year-old): Salome used to eat one bite for half an hour, that's why Mom got so surprised.

Tamila: We couldn't fall asleep that night... We were screaming with happiness so much that I think the whole of Batumi heard us! It's only been three months since we met and became friends with the Fund, but so much has changed in our lives! Why didn't we address you before!

My dear saviors, you really tried so hard that we made great progress. Look at Salome's face - there are no signs of illness on it, her look has changed. Three weeks ago, we had a guest who had never seen Salome before and was unaware of her problems. He called her to talk. I took her in my arms to take her to him. He was amazed that the child did not walk. He didn't even doubt that she was a little chatterbox and was about to come running on her own feet.

Dachi: I want Salome to say my name too. Because she says “mom” and “dad”, but she does not say “Dachi”.

- Dachi, what do you think is the best gift?

Dachi: Mmm ... In the first place - vitamins, and medicines, and ointments for my sister. Because she's better now - that's what we wanted. And we are all happy. And for myself, I asked for a phone, and Uncle Dato from the Fund brought it. This phone takes good pictures. I take pictures of Salome. I also show cartoons on it to Salome - "Masha and the Bear", "Jose the Giraffe"... I play "music. My sister likes the song from Basti-Bubu, and she dangles her feet.

When we get a call from the Fund, it means some gift is coming. Today they called us and brought a refrigerator and washing machine. That's great too. Now my dad and I will figure out how to connect them.

- Dachi, I want to shake your hand as the most caring brother.  There you go. Tamila, has there been any news from the local authorities, from the state since we started our project?

Tamila: I got an official letter by mail from “Georgia Health Care”. They promise to provide Salome with 100% health insurance. But I still don't understand how to get it. Why is everything so complicated... I'm trying to figure out where to start. I hope it's real.

- What do you need most right now?

Tamila: We need to continue the course of treatment. Please give us this chance.
