Jilda: I was so afraid of this - I didn’t want to believe ... They said that Luka’s condition would worsen over the years, but I believed in a miracle! I thought - what if everything would go differently for Luka, not like the others? I thought, what if the monster that lives in his head would stop developing and leave my son alone? But he started having headaches and seizures recently.

My children adore you! There is so much warmth, love and gifts from you!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

"Two pairs of sneakers in total!  I wear one pair, then the other".

- My brother Luka starts crying when he is very happy, - says 6-year-old Nikusha. Do you know how much he cried?  He cried because of the new bed, because of clothes and shoes, because of the meat grinder too.  He even cried because of my tablet, and also because of honey and candies. But he's not unhappy, that means he's happy.

- We should remember that.  And how did you react to the gifts?

- I'm cheerful, and I want to talk a lot and say thank you to everyone.  I love everyone!

The joy of the children from the Gabedava family is so different!  But it comes from the depths of their souls.  Such strong joy after all the hardships!

- Nikush, didn't your vacation just start? You're probably riding your new bike since morning.

Nika: First, I ride on our street, then in the park.  My dad taught me how to ride a two-wheeled bike, and I'm doing well now.  When I get tired, I let other kids ride it. You know, I came up with a trick so that my candies don't run out.

“I ride my bike until I get tired, and then I rent it out, and count my candies"

- What did you come up with?

Nika: One lap on the bike - one chocolate candy.  Two laps - two candies.  Three laps - three candies.  And now I have both a bike and candies.

- Well, you have the mind of a businessman, Nikush!

Nika: I love giving advice to my mom and participating in all the affairs. When you gave us money for groceries, I went to the store with my mom and helped choose the products.  I picked things that everyone at home liked.  And Luka almost choked me with joy.  I chose chocolate spread, yogurts, boxed juices, 'ear' cookies, cereal that you pour milk on, candies, of course, sausage, honey, cupcakes.  Mom chose rice, buckwheat, and eggs.  Well, I think I chose more interesting things, right?

Nikusha chose everything he wanted at the store!

- Mama Jilda, no offense, but I support Nikusha's choice: play while you play!

Jilda: As long as the children are happy, I agree to anything (laughs).  I just make sure that Luka doesn't eat sweets after 6 o'clock. Because he has weight issues, and he can't be very active.

Luka adores sweets and immediately reached for the honey

Nika: "Don't worry, yogurt won't make you gain weight. I'll feed you"

Nika: I also helped choose clothes for Luka.  The three of us went to the bazaar, me, mom, and Luka. There's a store there with really big clothes. We found pants, shirts, and shorts for Luka. He found the shoes himself. He liked everything a lot. Want to know how I understood it? First, he cried after the bazaar, and second, he repeated "shirt," "pants" a hundred times...  When he repeats one word many times, it means he really liked that thing.

Nikusha chose clothes for Luka

Luka has become such a stylish boy!

- How precious he is, Luka!  Let him wear everything in good health.

Nika: Yes, he is very adorable, like a little baby.  He says, "tablet, tablet, tablet"... "Bed, bed, bed"... That means he likes them.  He says the same for all the things you gave him. For the bread maker, and the new table, and my bike...

"I have finally come to believe that this tablet is mine.  At first, I couldn't get used to it"

- Nika, what did they buy for you and your older brother, Lasha?

Nika: I wanted sports shoes and a shirt, and I chose them myself. They also bought sneakers and a shirt for Lasha. I have some news for you and everyone else - I have also started wrestling. I go to the same teacher as Lasha. I have been attending for two months now. And our teacher, Paata, gave my brother and me wrestling uniforms as a gift.

“I have started wrestling. And I needed new shoes"

Jilda: Now let's see what my younger son is capable of and how he will perform (smiles). Lasha continues to win. He won two championships in Batumi and brought home a new personalized trophy.  I am very grateful to the teacher of my sons, Batoni Paata, for his attention, care, and for the much-needed gift - wrestling robes.

I am grateful to every reader of the Fund and to every member of your creative team who has been taking care of us all this time and supporting us. The children adore your staff and don't even want to go for a walk when the Fund team is supposed to visit us. They love your readers and are happy that we have so many friends!  The children forget about our problems when you give them so much warmth, love, and gifts.

"It’s Luka's bed, but I also like lying here..."

"and crawling into the blanket drawer under the bed..."

"You're too small for this bed, it's my size!"

I value your past gifts very much and try to use them carefully so that they serve us for a long time.  The washing machine and refrigerator are in excellent condition (a gift from Terabank during the previous project - Ed.).

The bread maker saved us greatly during the winter. Bread comes better than in bakery, and you don’t have to go anywhere.  Thank you for the electric meat grinder, for the new bed for my Luka. We have breakfast and lunch together as a family, not taking turns - here is our new.  It can be extended to seat 12 people, it's extendable.

"Sometimes the new pouffe can be my drum!"

Oh my God, so much has been done for just one family!  You help in the same way whenever they address you - to all sorts of people. I started reading all your stories on the website, on Facebook. And I try to support those who are in trouble, even with a word.  Hopefully, someday I will be able to provide material support as well.   I want all of you to have good health and a prosperous life. You are amazing, you are wonderful!

- Jilda, what did you find out about Luka's health during the examinations?

Jilda: They checked his head.  He has cysts in his head, so we need to monitor how things are going from time to time. There is no deterioration, everything is the same as before.  I thank the Lord that my son is more or less fine and does not currently need emergency help. Lord, may we live without upheavals for a long time. It's only thanks to the readers that we were able to see a doctor.

 - Jilda, have the local authorities shown any interest in your problems?

Jilda: After you wrote about us, the municipality provided us with one-time assistance - 400 lari. They have become more active now and pay more attention to us. When I submit an application, they review it right away. I wrote to them about firewood, and they have already reviewed it.

- Will you receive firewood then?

Jilda: I hope so, probably yes.

- How else could we help?

Jilda: My family and I dream of returning to our own home and no longer living in a rented apartment.  But this is only our concern - how to pay off the loan that we took on the security of our apartment. The money was spent on saving our son... We didn't think about the house back then, and we actually lost it.  We have so many problems, how can I bother people?  They deserve only our immense gratitude.
