“Mom, look, this mirror is magical!  Look, how beautiful I am there...   I am not that beautiful in reality, right? " - seven-year-old Marita calls her mother joyfully. “You are very beautiful, my life. You are a real princess!" - Nino answers her. She is happy because she saw rays of joy in always lowered sad, angelic eyes of Marita.

"This mirror does not talk, but it is still magical!"

     The wind of kindness brought a lot of gifts for Marita today. It soared up from our Fund and, with your help, lifted the dark cloud again, our good friends! Thank you that you exist, thank you that you are always with us and selflessly do your best to save more and more families from poverty! God bless you!

Marita Aptsiauri is seven years old. She was diagnosed ptosis - a disease of the eyelids, rarely found among children of her age.  Their house collapsed. They found themselves almost in the street.  They have financial problems. They did not have normal living conditions and the opportunity to visit a doctor.

Marita arranged her little world here - she says that her bed is like a two-story house...

Nino (Marita`s mother): Look at my radical girl, doesn`t her happy smile answer that question? This little girl is our life, and she has changed a lot. You made her dreams come true. We are immensely grateful for the wonderful gifts we have received. We really needed everything. Our house collapsed and we had almost nothing left. Marita`s diagnosis completely devastated us. We addressed your Fund in despair. After the publication of the post, we saw how many responses Marita`s story received. It turns out there so many kind people living in our tiny Georgia…I would never have believed that we would received such support from so many complete strangers. Friends of your Fund-your readers-are our guardian angels…They are not only ours, but of all families in need! I want to say a big thank you to those who always think and care about others. It is a great talent to do good and not ask for anything in return. This is really the way that brings us closer to the Lord! Friends, may everything you have done for us, come back to you a hundredfold in the future.

Marita (7-year-old):  I'll show you everything, but first, look in this mirror, will you also look more beautiful?

         - As far as I see, you liked this "magical" mirror most of all?

        Marita: You cannot even imagine how I dreamed of such a mirror, closet, and bed. I always dreamed of that, but I did not have my room then ... I wanted to sleep in a beautiful bed and not in the same as then... Our house collapsed ... I wanted to look in a beautiful mirror in the morning, put on beautiful dresses that I would store in a beautiful closet before going to bed...But I did not have them ... And I had no toys ... only one, my dad brought me ...

        - Now you have a beautiful doll, right?

        Marita: Yes, my doll is very beautiful, my mother said that the Fund's friends sent it to me. I do not know what a Fund is, but I think that there are many kind people and they made all my dreams come true!

Nino: Turkish doctors examined Marita.  They decided that the operation needed to be postponed. In the meantime, she should be followed up by a doctor, should be under control.  They examine her monthly. 

"Now, I will look like other happy children ..."

Marita: Come on, let me show you the most important thing... Here's another very, very cool gift... Look what a tablet I have! When I saw it, I screamed so much... I could not hide my joy! I have been dreaming about a tablet for so long! My mother could not buy it to me. But I have it now!  I will   listen to my favorite "Harlequino" and watch "Masha and the Bear".

“We are two Maritas now - me and one from the mirror. The important thing is that they are both happy!”

        Marita: I know - this is a clown with a cheerful face and with a sad heart. I really like to sing and dream, I also sing about Harlequino, as children sing on a beautiful stage.

        Marita: I want to see well. So that my eyes do not hurt, and to grow up soon. I want to become a teacher of kindness.

        - What is that?

        Marita: I came up with this profession (laughs). It is the same as a kind fairy. In fact, I want to teach everyone that if they give someone something very necessary and make people happy, then everyone will be happy. Do you want everyone to be happy, right? I really want that.

      The wonderful girl Marita, we want everyone in Georgia to be happy, especially such little angels like you! We want nothing to hurt them, we want them not to starve! We want them to be warm and to have a lot of toys! But this is not easy to fix even for adults - we need a lot of teachers of kindness to change everything.
