REPOST, MY GOOD MAN! LET YOUR FRIENDS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORK OF MERCY!

“Mom, Andria grabbed the entire bread loaf again, now he’ll eat everything himself, he’ll leave us nothing,” - six-year-old Mari calls her mother for help. She knows that she will not be able to cope with her brother alone and that he will not give away the bread himself. Then nine-year-old Giorgi, six-year-old Mari, five-year-old Alexander will be left without bread, and only two-year-old Andria will have his fill...

Five-month-old Daniel is the luckiest one - he has his mother's milk!

- Mari, is it because you like bread or you grudge bread for your brother?

Mari (6-year-old): He will burst! He is smaller than this bread! And I love chewing gum, the watermelon one.

- Why chewing gum? Aren't candies tastier?

Mari: They are testier, but they are very expensive, and they are gone after one bite. But you can chew the gum for a long time - even all day long and imagine that it is delicious!

So many words have been said and written about children who starve. So many words have been said and written about esurience devouring all their dreams and hopes.

This story will be similar to others - this is the same play, but with different characters... This is no longer the tragedy of one family, but the shame of the entire society, the shame of the nation. Children in Georgia - so many children in Georgia - should not starve, but in fact, almost every second goes starving!

"Mom, he's going to eat all our bread now"

- Inna, Mari is very worried that Andria grabbed the bread loaf. Does she feel sorry for her brother?

Inna: Oh, my children are malnourished, and one can notice that from their behavior. They look in each other’s bowls, to see who got more food from me, and who got less.  We bring food from the social canteen once a day. Sometimes it is delicious, but sometimes it is so awful that even street dogs will not eat it. On a day like this, I just refuse to take this food home. And I have no idea how to distribute social allowance. Cereals, pasta, potatoes - are the only things we can afford.

“Fridge serves just like decoration”

- What is the income of your family?

Inna: We only get 680 GEL social allowance. While my husband was healthy, he worked at construction sites tirelessly. He worked day and night, and that ruined his health. Two years ago, he fell from the second floor and got a back injury. God saved him, He did not let him go cripple. But now he can't work with the same workload anymore.  - What this amount is enough for?

Inna: We pay 300 GEL to rent this space. It can hardly be called an apartment, but still. We never used to have our own home - we permanently move together with our children... It's so hard: sometimes they kick us out because of non-payment, sometimes because the children are making noise. It is hard, so hard!

Not a crumb is left in the evening.

- Inna, let's dream. What do you think, what monthly income should you have to become the happiest person?

Inna: Oh, you took me by surprise, I did not expect such a question. Just to be very happy? To worry about nothing and sleep peacefully at night? Oh, well, probably fifty...

  - Fifty thousand?

Inna: Oh, no! What are you talking about? Fifty GEL per day.

- Fifty GEL per person per day?

Inna: No, just fifty GEL per entire family. For all. For all of us... So that we wanted for nothing. But it is too much - 1500 GEL per month. Now I have to keep my children with 10 GEL per day. If I buy 3 GEL worth of pasta or buckwheat, I get a lot of food. But children still want something else, they want meat.

Mari: By the way, we want a chewing gum as well! And cake! But, if mom has money, she will even buy us candy!

"I want a car or a bike to play with my brothers."

  - Have you got any big dreams?

Mari: How big? Something like a desk, computer, and car?

- Exactly!

Mari: Sure! I want a car, a toy car. To play with my brothers. I also want a desk. It’s true! And a chair, my own chair. I love drawing, well not drawing, but coloring pictures. But we do have not enough pencils. Can I have them as well?

Wait a minute - I will finish the drawing and then will lend it to you.

Giorgi: I really need a phone!

  - What do you need it for?

  Giorgi: To call.

Mari: I know who he is going to call. He is fond of one girl!

(Giorgi threatened his sister with his fist so that she kept quiet.)

  - Well, don’t tell me her name, just tell me why are you fond of her?

Giorgi: I’ll kill you, Mari! But since she said, I'll tell you. She is beautiful and kind. And her hair smells really good.

“I don’t understand what language I need to speak to him so that he calms down”

  - What color are her eyes?

Giorgi: Beautiful color! I don't remember what color they are, but they are the most beautiful ones.

  - Would you like to marry her?

Giorgi: What are you talking about! First, you have to find a job, well, first - you have to study. And then get married!

  - You, smart ones! You are probably friends, right?

Mari: No, we're killing each other! I am the only girl among so many boys. The oldest is Giorgi, then me, then Alexander, he is five years old. Then, Andria - this is one who was eating bread when you came and did not give it back to us. And then the youngest - Daniel. He is very little, not even one year old.

"My brothers offend me, but I love these fools so much."

Inna: This is how we live... I thank God that all my children are healthy. Thank God that there is no need to buy formula milk for Daniel - I can breastfeed him. I pray to the Mother of God not to leave my children unattended, to be with us.

"Inna with the baby looks like an icon ... The one she prays every day to so that her children do not go hungry."

  - Inna, let’s summarize our conversation. What do you need the most at this stage? Believe me, your life will change after we introduce you to our readers!

Inna: I’ve read about miracles that happen to those who addressed the Chernovetskyi Fund. That is why I dared... I just can't cope alone right now.  We will never be able to purchase all the things that we really need, by ourselves.

  - You can address our readers! What do you need?

Inna: First of all, it’s a washing machine! Doing all the washing for five babies is so hard. Refrigerator, beds for children... They no longer fit in the old ones. We really need clothes and shoes. I just feel sorry for them - they only have torn slippers. That's it... Well, and some groceries and diapers, if you don't consider it arrogant. Now that's exactly it.

“It will get cold soon, and my children have nothing but slippers”

What else to say, what to add? How can we support this family and alleviate their suffering? What can you think about when children who live next to us dream of chewing gum? Folks, they are dreaming about chewing gum, because it doesn't run out quickly and they can chew it all day long. Children just imitate eating... It makes my skin crawl.

The family needs everything: food, hygiene products, washing machine, refrigerator, clothes, and beds. We believe that this story will reach the right people, we hope so! Because we always reach the kind hearts.

Every time you can help someone, just do it and rejoice that God answers someone's prayers through you!

Let’s show our mercy and make the children believe that miracles happen! They believe in us. Do not let our little compatriots down. Show them what generous people live in Georgia
