I knew and believed that there were still many good people in the world. They exist and do good selflessly. Their existence means for me the continuation of life, existence, and peace. Thank you all, thank you all for humanity!”

– Mrs. Svetlana, how has your life changed since the publication of the post?

Svetlana: I woke up and found myself in a different world, where there is more peace, opportunities and, most importantly, kindness. Our social allowance is 600 GEL. I pay rent and buy medicines for our Andria, which he needs so much. I always did my best to keep the children from starving, and with God's help, I succeeded. But my heart hurt when they asked me for toys, good clothes, a mobile phone, and other things I could not buy - I could not fulfill their dream. And today, as Andria says, Santa brought them two new mobile phones, a skateboard, a bicycle, and a lot of things. Andria is right: he has not one, but many Santas, and together they fulfilled his dream.

It was very hard for me to buy them sweets and beautiful clothes. And today they go to the kindergarten dressed beautifully and cheerfully hurry back home, because they know that they have a lot of sweets, and they can eat deliciously. Children tell their mother and my daughter about kind people and thank them. They know that their mother helps them from there as an angel.

A dream came true - they have new bikes

- Svetlana, which of your new friends would you especially mention?

Svetlana: Lord if you knew how grateful I am to all people. May the Lord bless and strengthen them! I pray all the time that they don't have any difficulties. The grace of my family, my grandchildren will accompany them until the end of their lives. I remember everyone, and everyone is dear to me. Nikoloz and Tiko bought mobile phones and a bicycle for the children, and for me an oven, sets of teacups, knives and forks. These people made the children's dream come true and made my life easier, gave me the opportunity to bake yummies for my grandchildren.

Local residents - Mr. Gela and Mr. Zviad - brought us groceries, making our menu diverse and reminding us of many tastes that we dreamed of. Mrs. Maiko gave the children a skateboard. And Dato made their dream come true by bringing bicycles as a gift. Mrs. Nana brought beautiful clothes, sweets, and a car with a remote control as a gift.

And parents from their kindergarten bought us clothes. The Lord must bless everyone who helped us or just expressed sympathy and prolong their life and life of their children. Thank you! And know that I will be grateful to you only for making my grandchildren smile until the end of my life.

- We are very happy that there are so many kind people. We are also happy that they managed to help and make you happy. Did the local authorities respond to our post? Was there any reaction from them?

Svetlana: Dear, there was no, no reaction at all. To be honest, I didn't expect it. When I have difficult moments in my life, I rely only on kind people, only they help me. I get only social allowance from the state, which is so meager in today's reality.

- Svetlana, what does this help and support mean to you personally?

Svetlana: Dear, we live in a rented house where we never had normal beds, furniture, washing machine, TV, and utensils. And now we sleep in beautiful and warm beds. My hands were torn from constant washing in cold water. And today, when the washing machine is turned on, I can’t believe that it is mine. We watch a big color TV and are happy that we get the news like normal people.

For me, as a woman, a mother who lost her daughter, and a lonely grandmother, this selfless kindness means the continuation of life and happiness. All warm words, each donated thing personally for me is a gift from God. And the greatest gift from God is an army of kind people.

- I’d like to talk to Andria. Andria, what gift made you happy the most?

Andria: I really like the phone. I always dreamed of having my own cell phone to play on it.  My angel mom sent it to me with the help of a kind person. And I really love the bike. I learned to ride it and ride it little by little. Grandmother is afraid that I would hurt myself. But she is also very happy that I like it. I liked both the phone and the bike very much. I really wanted them when others had them. And now I have them too.

Svetlana: They went crazy with joy when they saw the phone. Tears of joy flowed from their eyes, and I almost burst into tears too. The bike was their dream, really it was their dream. Now they have it too. Thank you again and again for this joy! Thank you, kind people, our friends!

“Beautiful color TV is already mine”

- Mrs. Svetlana, do you have any other problem? We can help you.

 Svetlana: Dear, we don’t have home of our own. We pay rent with the help of emigrants or with lots of efforts. My husband and I sold everything to get money for treatment of our children, and so we found ourselves in the streets. All the time I dream that children have their own roof over their heads, where they will find peace and they will have the feeling that it belongs to them. They always ask me before going to bed: “Will we have our own house?” I promise them that good people will appear again and will make this dream come true. God grant that my words come true, and this dream becomes a reality.
