“My bike is prettier because it’s girlish! And yours are ugly!”

In the Natsvlishvili family, 4-year-old Lika and 5-year-old Nikoloz keep arguing. When we first visited them, they couldn't share the bread and were arguing about who would eat more sausage if they had any. Today, when we gave the kids so many gifts, they have a new topic for debates. Whose bike is faster, whose bike is prettier, and can bikes be boyish or girlish? They are so cute!

 “I won’t let you ride, it’s only for girls! You see, the dog is also a girl!”

It seems to be nothing special, but you can’t even imagine how happiness changes a person. Today they have the things that they could not even dream of before. Children have new dream bikes, and they are in seventh heaven with happiness.

“Who’s bike wins?”

When we brought the TV in a big box, they did not believe at first, because they had never seen such a big and slim TV! It is so colorful! They could not hide their emotions, hugged, and already agreed who, what and at what time would watch. It seems they have not argued yet because of the TV, although everything is still ahead.

 “They show only girlish things here!”

Ruizan: I think I screamed with joy louder than my children! This is what a washing machine looks like. It really makes you feel like a queen. Remember my cracked hands? Look at them now!

Ruizan: I have always believed that if you are a kind person and do not hold evil in your heart, it will come back to you somehow for sure. A living example for me is how many people supported me, helped me. It turns out that this is a very pleasant feeling when strangers worry about you and help you. I am happy that I experienced this feeling and that my children are happy. Nothing has brought me as much joy as their happy faces have.

And our rhythm of life has also changed, as if revived. We watch TV, spend time together in a completely different way. Children ride bikes together and we have fun watching them. I relax because the washing machine does such a big job for me, and I save so much time. My arms and lower back finally got rest. May the Lord give every family the joy I experienced thanks to you. My family will never forget this kindness!

“When I put the laundry in the washing machine and it does the work for me, I feel like a queen!”

Ruizan: I would especially note two women who came to visit us personally and brought us a supply of food. I really appreciate their act, because they came from so afar and expressed such attention and support to us. I know from my relatives, that they wrote warm and kind words on social networks. Your good wishes and such attention made us very happy. When you are in trouble, even words have great power.

“It is so delicious that you can eat these cookies with the box!”

Ruizan: Unfortunately, no one appeared. We have nothing except for the social allowance. We would be very happy if they would react and give us some attention. But who cares about us? In our country, people in need get the least attention - although it should be the other way around. But to be honest, I didn’t really expect much, so my disappointment was not strong.

Ruizan: First of all, moral strength and the return of hope, which has almost gone because of problems. This help completely changed our mood, attitude and the situation at home in general. When I wake up and look around, it's still unusual that I have new things at home. When I realize this, it feels like a load was taken off my mind. My mood changes completely. Mornings don't start with the anxiety that I have a ton of laundry and it will take half a day to do it. My dear people, I thank you for every tetri you donate for our family! Our life would be really hard without you.

 “My brother does not believe that my bike is better than his!”

Nikoloz (5-year-old): Sure! Lika says her bike is better. How not to argue when mine is better!

Lika (4-year-old): My is beautiful as a girl. And his is not!

Nikoloz: I always outrun everyone in our yard. Everyone asks me to lend them my bike. Everyone loves my bike.

“My brother and I have the coolest bikes in the world”

Nikoloz: I do, I'm not a scrooge! I give everyone a little ride. And I teach my brother. And when he learns well, we will ride together.

Lika (4-year-old): I liked a color TV. It shows cartoons in beautiful colors. I also watched Frozen. And also... a movie about Aladdin. Before, when it started to get dark, I was happy because I could go to bed soon. Now I don't want to sleep. I want to look at girls in beautiful dresses all the time.

“It seems that our dog likes my bike”

Nikoloz: Do you know what else I was happy about, ma’am? That you brought us sausage and food. I even felt the smell of sausage through the bag. It was very tasty. I got a little sad when it ended, but my mother said that they would bring us more, and I felt better. Do you want me to teach you how to make a cool sandwich? Take two slices of bread, put a sausage in the middle, then open your big mouth and eat it, yummy. It is the most delicious food in the world.

Ruizan: I could never even dream of what we already have at this stage thanks to you. How can I ask you for more?

Ruizan: If so, I want to ask for one more thing. We still have a problem with beds. There are so many of us, but no one has a proper bed. I'm not asking for a new one, as long as it's in good condition. At least it won't be half-sagged and shattered. Maybe someone bought a new one, but didn’t throw the old one away, and saved it for our family. Any help, be it dishes or mattresses, will make me happy. I will be grateful to everyone until the end of my life for anything.

“When these run out, will you bring us more?”

This family has no one but you. They get only 300 per month and this amount is too small to keep living. Soon the Natsvlishvili family will face the problem with the food again. Kids will get hungry soon. The cold winter will come again, and time will show the need for other things. So, we must unite again, again we must extend a helping hand to this family.
