Waiting for expulsion
Sometimes it
happens that by a twist of fate a person gets in trouble. In this case sympathy
and compassion can provide invaluable spiritual help to the person aggrieved.
77-year old Tina Balakhadze gets worse day by day. She is in despair. She has undergone three operations on stomach; her heart hurts, thyroid goiter troubles her, and recently she fell down and broke her arm. So she suffers of physical and mental pain.
Total income of the family is 210 lari. This is a tiny amount which is hardly enough for bread. In addition, Tina has taken her pension beforehand for three years to pay for operation and treatment of her disabled son.
And what to pay her living with? Where to find money for medicines and bandages? And the owner of the apartment will soon ruin her because she does not pay for the rent.
Mrs. Tina is staying in this desperate condition for already 5 years, and before she used to be a housewife in an orderly family, she brought up children, had a big house in Borzhomskyi District, she worked as a nurse at a hospital for more than 45 years.
And then a series of misfortunes began. After the death of her husband the family decided to open a small shop. They took a mortgage loan but their business collapsed. They had to sell everything they had earned with hard work – the house, furniture, fridge, tableware, and to move to a rented apartment in the outskirts of Tbilisi.
Tina wrote a letter to a deputy about her misfortune but still she did not get any answer.
We ask you to take the complicated condition of Tina Balakhadze to your heart and to provide any help you can.
