In this horrible tiny room with concrete floor and peeling walls Shota, a very good person, lives, if one could call this a life.

 There is neither bathroom, nor toilet, nor kitchen... and most horribly, there are no windows!

 Shota can only guess when day comes, as sun rays have no way to penetrate the room where blood freezes in veins with horror. It may sound inhuman, but one could tell that an alive person is buried alive...

And do you think that lonely twilight years and existence in primitive conditions in uninhabitable premises is the most horrible that may happen to a person?! He has been bedridden and cannot even raise in bed for already half a year because constant coldness, hunger, frustration and unbearable conditions paralyzed him.

The tiny pension Shota receives is not enough neither for medicines, nor for improvement of the way he exists! No question about medicines: he even does not have money to pay for utilities! For this reason he switches of the dim lamp only when in this total darkness he starts wondering whether he is still alive or already dead and buried...

On these Christmas holidays Shota as no one else needs our support and assistance! He has nobody to address!

Just imagine how it is scary to stay alone among many people, to be noticed by no one, to be necessary to no one, one on one with one's own problems: illnesses, hunger, coldness and dilapidated house.

And do you know what is the scariest? It is scary that we have more than 600 such people registered at our Fund. And we help all of them as much as we can! And it is horrible even to imagine the number of people who died waiting for help.
