"My mother is my heart, and if she dies I will die too". These are the words of 7-year old Kety. Over the last two years she hears over and over again that her mother is ill, and very often she has to see with her own eyes how her mother is suffering and moaning with strong pain.

31-year old Natia Chimakhidze has an oncology disease. She used to be a flamboyant beautiful girl; she used to work, bring up her daughter, she dreamt to see the whole world; and now she has to face a horrible diagnosis: melanoma, fourth degree. She suffers intensive pain, her bones ache, and cough makes all her body twist in convulsions and renders her bedridden.

The situation is a catastrophe and gets worse day by day. Little Kety has to watch all this. She does not understand everything what is going on, but worries deeply in her soul: she kisses her mother's hands, caresses her head, tries to cheer her up, sings songs and dances for her, tries to make her laugh...

"Often I have to hold back my pain with inhuman efforts and not show it, as my daughter is so sensitive and vulnerable that she wakes up every time I cough and asks: "Mummy, aren't you dying?", - says Natia.

From the very beginning she was diagnosed incorrectly and instead of an oncology disease they treated tuberculosis. And a couple of years ago, when her real illness was found, doctors started the treatment and everything was fine in the beginning. "Lili Abuladze lived in our village. She was a mother of many children and also had melanoma; and your Fund helped her very much", - recalls Natia. "When she was dying, I visited her and thought: life is strange, she is dying and I recovered. But my happiness did not last long...".

Natia is a single mother. Her retired mother is taking care of her, and her tiny pension is hardly enough for simple food, let alone treatment of the seriously ill woman. Mother, daughter and granddaughter dwell all in one tiny room with damp walls and windy windows; there is no one to help them and sometimes it seems that sun has set forever for this family.

Natia Chimakhidze is an optimistic person, she does not lose her hope that God will not leave her alone. The only thing she asks God for is that he would help her life at least a bit longer, to raise her beloved daughter and see her face and enjoy her presence as long as possible.

Doctors suggest her to make "BRAF mutation" analysis which will help to appoint correct timely treatment. Yes, Natia has a chance! But under condition that we, her friends, will help her with our joint efforts.

If you have a financial possibility to help Natia Chimakhidze, you can transfer money to the Fund account GE15TB7194336080100003 or GE64BG0000000470458000 (purpose: Natia Chimakhidze) or pay directly from our web-site https://chernovetskyifund.ge/ge/projects/
