So we live by faith in God!
Mother and daughter. They are united by love and faith in God, cancer and dozens of deadly diseases! And death itself, that every day many times knocks on the doors of their dilapidated home, which, now, is about to fall apart!
Immediately all the misfortunes of the World fell on two defenseless women, and in the house - not a single tetri on drugs. And if it were not for Father Nahum’s Church of the Assumption of which we are faithful parishioners, we would starve to death.
If it seems to you, friends, that misfortune suddenly came to you - read this post and immediately understand - that you should thank our Lord for what you have! Because it happens 1000 times worse !!! What’s 1000 ... A million, a billion times!
If it were not for the church of God and “our Batushka,” the 70-year-old mother and 40-year-old daughter live in constant fear! They are afraid of everything: so that the heart attack does not hit again, so that a new tumor does not appear, so as not to be left without a piece of bread, so that the roof does not collapse, the floor does not collapse, so they tiptoed in the house.
Asya Dzhincharadze and Nino Hintibidze are two unfortunate women, a mother and daughter, whose fate is intertwined with a tragic thread. They are completely lonely, their father died of a heart attack 14 years ago, they can’t work due to health reasons, relatives live far away and don’t communicate, and the neighbors don’t particularly favor it. So these poor things live in a “prison”, in complete alienation and alone with their illnesses. However, faith in God saves them!
“We are parishioners of the local church. This is the only place where we breathe humanly, where we are not afraid, where the priest blesses us and helps both spiritually and financially. He’ll give food, then clothes, and then he will cheer us up with a kind word, ”says 40-year-old Nino Khintibidze.
She graduated from the Faculty of Biology of the Pedagogical Institute, worked in the environmental department of the city of Batumi, however, one accident, turned her life upside down.
Here is how she recalls this: “In the early 90s, when the country was in ruin, robbers attacked me. I was returning from work late at night; there was darkness all around, no light, no police, complete chaos. I began to resist with the bandits; they hit me, I dropped my head on the asphalt. These bastards were scared by the light of a passing car, they ran away, but I got so stressed that I couldn’t leave for a whole week. The result is a concussion and deep depression.
     - Nino, your troubles did not end there?
Nino Khintibidze: Oh, unfortunately not. In 2007, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Have an operation. In 2014, another cancer diagnosis was made - thyroid cancer. In 2014, she did radiation therapy. And so I live in constant tension, feelings and fear, besides my heart aches and there is not enough air.
      - Did you pay for operations and treatment yourself, or did the state help?
Nino Khintibidze: We did the operations for free, but we paid for the treatment ourselves. It was necessary to buy expensive medicines and constantly go to paid dressing procedures.
-And where did you get the money for this, were there any savings?
Nino Khintibidze: There were no savings; we sold our own yard - 60 square meters and paid for the proceeds with the proceeds. In addition, she took her and Mom's pension 4 years in advance on bail.
     - It turns out that you can’t sell your house if necessary?
Nino Khintibidze: Yes, that’s how it goes. In fact, we live in prison. See what terrible conditions we have. The first floor of our house is non-residential, there is not even a floor there. And the second floor became so unusable that the whole thing was shaking. We walk on tiptoe, we are afraid to open the windows, they are so old that they can collapse upon opening. Almost no furniture, books, clothes, pots and pans are stored together. Recently, the wind tore off part of the roof, and rain flooded the boxes where our family photos lay. Everything was ruined. What a shame ...
-Asya, please tell me, have you always lived so poorly or were there times when you enjoyed your life, loved and were happy?
Asya Dzhincharadze: There were times when I was happy and in love with madness. She graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Technology and, after returning home, began working as a librarian in the Batumi Engineering Plant. There she met my future husband - Timur. They got married, the daughter Nino was born, they lived safely and in abundance.
      -And then what happened?
Asya Dzhincharadze: Eh, I don’t even want to remember. When the era of "Perestroika" came, our life went downhill. They worked quietly and calmly, did their job, produced products for the country and suddenly - collapse. Our factory was first transferred to self-sufficiency, and then completely closed. Left without work and began to sell what they acquired in order to somehow survive.
-And what happened to her husband?
Asya Dzhincharadze: The heart could not stand such stress, such a fate, especially
influenced the case with her daughter when she was robbed and beaten. He was ill for a long time and died after a heart attack in 2005.
    - Remember his last words?
Asya Dzhincharadze: Yes, I remember. He lay in bed, called his daughter, took my hand and tears appeared in his eyes. Well, then he said: take care of yourself, may the Lord protect you, we will meet in heaven when God considers it necessary (crying. - approx.).
       - Calm down, please. Tell us, what are you sick with right now, what does your family need most at the moment?
      - Asya Dzhincharadze: You “transformed” my memories. No one ever asked me about my past. Thank you for such attention. I suffered a heart attack several years ago, I feel weak, I feel constant pain in my heart, I am especially worried about my disabled daughter, whose whole life is broken. Social benefits and pensions are barely enough for basic medicines and food. There is no garden, there is already nothing to sell, the daughter cannot go for the next examination because of material need. We live, or rather, exist ...
-And the authorities do not help you?
    - Asya Dzhincharadze: City Hall donated us a table and chairs, as well as a small refrigerator. In addition, in the year they give out 120 GEL per medicine twice. But this, of course, is not enough. We hope that after publishing about us, there will be people who will provide us with all possible assistance!
-What do mother and daughter dream about? What bothers your hearts the most?
     - Asya Dzhincharadze: I, as a Christian, do not blame anyone in my life. God is the Judge! I only pray to ease our fate, to send us kind people who can sympathize and are ready to help!
Nino Khintibidze: I dream of life. Yes, yes, it is. I have such a terrible disease that I am afraid of the coming of a new day, I don’t know what it will bring to me, maybe it remains to live quite a bit ?!
Friends, if we can lend a helping hand, then on the other hand, Almighty Himself will shake your hand. Because the happiness of others on Earth is given to them for the manifestation of our faith, hope and love!
The life of these women is a caravan of misfortunes, when one misfortune follows another, when diseases stretch in a string. Helping them is our chance to become better and to pray for our own sins!
