This family needs clothes the most. Clothe them, and your soul will be enveloped with God's blessings!

The whole Georgia became our family!

Sometimes it happens that our help saves a person from death. We may not be aware of that, but children’s sincere words and their eyes make us understand that!

“You know, when you came and said that everything would be fine, that there are many kind men and women in Georgia, we didn’t believe it, but later we saw it ourselves! Because, they gave us such gifts! A whole TV! Can you imagine?! - says 7-year-old Ani and throws her hands to show how big her TV is. - But you know, we haven't turned it on yet, because there is no power socket in the basement, and grandma said something about the antenna. But it does not matter, since we have it - I look at it and imagine a big show where I will dance."

Marie (12 years old) can't wait to start preparing delicious meals for her sisters and grandmother: “I have always dreamed that we had a lot of food and I could cook fries for Nina, Elena and Ani. I know I can do it" - "Of course, you can!"

- How has your life changed after we published the article about you?

https://chernovetskyifund.ge/en/projects/finished/592-sukhashvili

Lali: Your help came on time. If it weren't for you and the generous friends of your Fund, I don't know what we would eat at all. Social allowance and pension are not enough for a month. We have four girls and they need to eat well to develop. This is exactly what you gave us! People started coming, helping us with food. Some people just called us and supported with their kind words. I could not imagine that there are so many good and kind people in Georgia. I hope we are lucky and meet again.

  - You say that they even came on a visit. Who are these people?

Lali: They came from Tbilisi. I just could not imagine that even during the pandemic, people would care and come to help us. It was a young couple, so well-mannered and smart ... Good young people! They came to our place, brought food for several days: buckwheat, a lot of sweets, pasta, bread, and even some meat. I couldn't believe it really happened! (Lali says with tears in her eyes.) I will never forget that day! They even gave the girls 20 GEL each, no one had given them any gifts for a long time.

- Was there anyone you remember the most? Maybe you are still in touch with them?

Lali: Yes, there is one woman, her name is Keti, she called me almost immediately after the publication. She became very close to me, because we have a similar life situation. Keti is a very kind-hearted person, she listened to me and supported me morally, not often you can find such understanding. But you know, I remember the names of everyone who called us or came to help. They brightened our lives and gave us hope. How can I forget such people?

- What does this support and help of the strangers mean to you?

Lali: I could not believe that for a long time. Nowadays, everyone has their own problems, and everyone is trying to keep their families, their children. Even when I addressed you, I didn't know what to expect. I would be happy to have just simple products for dinner, but here it is ... You gave us a stove and a TV set. I didn't know that there are so many people in Georgia who are not indifferent to someone else's grief. Now I know that there are much more selfless people than I could imagine.

– Maybe you have some more problems that our readers can help you to solve?

Lali: I don't know how to say ... (Cries.) It's hard to believe, but you probably remember what our house, well, just ruins rather than a house, looked like. It has collapsed this time. We have nowhere else to live, so we live in the basement. We fall asleep and wake up surrounded by damp walls, but what else can we do when there is no other place to go? ... I can’t ask you for anything else, please forgive me, I just can’t hold back the pain. It’s really hard to work the whole life and end up under the ruins in the basement … But there is food on the table, there are people who care, and this is a great support!

- I am so sorry to hear that, but there is always hope for the better future, please, don’t give up!

Lali: You are right. If it were not for you, most likely, we would not have food on our table - your help is just vital for us! But I still have one more request. Is it somehow possible to help me to get, at least a tiny apartment of my own? Maybe you can help? Or, perhaps, tell me where and to whom to appeal... I don't want to live in fear that our basement could also collapse over the head of my four girls...

- Mari, why are you so sad? Where is your smile?

Mari (12-year-old): Everything is here, I smile inside. I dreamed so much about cooking something tasty for my sisters on a new stove, but I still have to wait. Hopefully we'll fix the house soon. And Ani and Nina talk about you all the time. They were so excited to see those people who came to our place and gave us 20 GEL for the gifts! We bought more food for this money and also a kinder surprise for each of us. I don't even remember the last time we ate it.

Ani (7-year-old): It was so delicious! (Ani intervened with delight.) I got a little teddy bear as a gift, I play with it. You also gave us a TV ... I dream of being in it one day! Nina and I will dance there, and Mari will look at us. By that time, Elene will also be in our group and we will perform together!

- Ani, how cheerful you are! What do you watch on TV?

Ani: Nothing yet. We haven't turned it on yet, because there is no power socket in the basement, and my grandmother was saying something about an antenna too. But it does not matter, since we have it - I look at it and imagine a big show where I will dance.

- As far as I remember it was Eleniko who dreamed about the TV most. Am I right?

Eleniko (5-year-old): Yes! How do you remember that? You have so many children! I pet the TV now! When they repair our roof, and we can unpack my dear TV, then it will be... Oh, what it will be then!!!

- And what will it be?

Eleniko: What? A lot of joy! We will sit all together: Nina, Ani, Mari, me and my Teddy and we will watch it. We will watch everything there!

- Nina, what are you dreaming about?

Nina (10-year-old): My dreams are too big! I really want to live in a warm house, where we would turn on our TV and watch movies together. Then we would eat the food, that Marie prepared, all together, I would also help her. And I want our house to have windows so that the sun would wake us up, because it's dark in the basement ...

- Ninochka, everything is ahead, I think you and your sisters will have it. Kind people will not leave you, and your grandmother will always protect you!

Thanks to everyone, who was by this family, who helped them to live these months a little bit easier than usual. Any of your help is a support for them, either moral or financial. They really need it, our beautiful Sukhashvili family needs it. Their problems seem to be endless, but it is you who can bring the family closer to a happier future.
