“I miss him very much ... I want to hug him and to play with him so much. He is cold there. And mommy and I are cold here ..." Little Tea misses her father. A healthy man, he suddenly died. He left his girls alone - his wife Lia and his 6-year-old daughter Tea. They are absolutely alone. And they have nothing... “That's how she talks about her dad all day long. Sits by his photograph, tells him how we are getting on. She was very attached to him. She loved him very much. She loved him even more than me. Father's daughter! It's very hard for me too. Can you imagine how it feels to lose a perfectly healthy man in a week? My world has turned upside down, the earth has disappeared beneath my feet. I don’t know what to do, how to live... I try to restrain myself, not to be too emotional. I know that he looks at us from heaven and helps us."

- I am so sorry! What is the main problem you are facing now?

Lia: Cold and hunger! If not for our good neighbors, we would not have survived these months. After the death of my husband, my daughter was entitled to orphan’s pension of 100 GEL. That is what we pay for the rent of this room. “Dad helps us,” Tea tells me, she thanks her father that he takes care of us from heaven too. Our allowance is 140 GEL. Do you think it’s possible to live on that money? I don’t manage to. Maybe I’m a spender? Maybe I don't know how to save money?

  - 140 GEL per month for two, is 2 GEL per day per person - it is very little, especially, when food prices are so high!

Lia: Our food is bread and pasta. If someone treats Tea to sweets, she immediately comes to me and shares them with me. She is a very kind baby.

Tea (6-year-old): Mommy says that she does not like sweets. How is it possible not to like sweets? Do you like them? Or you save the sweets for your children too?

  - I love sweets and I’m sure you mommy loves them too.

Tea: Don't believe my mom that she doesn't like sweets. She lies, so that I could get more! So, when I wrote the letter to Santa, I asked him to bring us a lot of sweets!

  - What else did you ask him?

Tea: Just don't tell my mom! I asked him for warm shoes to wear at home! It's cold here and my feet are freezing. I also asked for warm clothes for my mother and me. When we go to bed at night, we barely warm each other. It's very cold here. I also asked for warm blankets, one doll and dumplings! Probably Santa will bring at least something.

  - I think he will definitely bring you gifts.

Tea: I also think so. My mother says that he may be busy and won't bring us anything. But I believe you more!

- Lia, let's believe in miracles, let’s believe that Santa will come to you. I want you to write your wishes to him.

Lia: Oh, please. I can only think on how to keep my baby. And as for dreams, I dream of a washing machine. Of a refrigerator and a TV. We really need a new bed and, as Tea said, we need warm blankets. That's all.

  - Lia, does anybody from your relatives help you?

Lia: Now everyone has their own problems. My parents are old, they themselves need help. God gave me good neighbors. They care so much about my daughter! In Georgia, neighbors are the greatest treasure for every person!

  - You can address Georgians. They read our posts not only in Georgia, but all over the world. I am sure that you and your wonderful daughter will have a lot of new friends!

Lia: I know, nobody has time for us now. Everyone has their own problems and things to do. New Year is coming soon. But I'm sure there will be at least someone who will become a real Santa for my little orphan.

Tea: And I would wish everyone Happy New Year and would invite everyone to my place to introduce my doll! Her name is Nina! She is beautiful, isn't she? She also needs warm clothes!

Friends, Lia Osanadze found herself in a very difficult situation. She was left alone with her little daughter after her husband, a loving dad, had passed away. They really need our support. Evil fate decreed Lia to raise her baby alone. They live in terrible conditions. Little Tea grows up in cold and hunger, and her mother often refuses herself a piece of bread to keep her child!

Mother and daughter are in dire need of any help: food, a washing machine, a refrigerator, a bed and bedding. And little Tea dreams of dolls and sweets.
