Is the beautiful mom Araksi smiling again? Her children dreamed about this so much! Friends, we prove again and again, not in words, but in deeds - dreams come true!

For the first time in years, they are warm at home and they have delicious food for lunch.

- I have no words to express my gratitude to the people, who not only made our life better, but also saved the life of my son!

Together with Araksi, we thank the Lord that Yura’s life is no longer in danger. Thank you for this stove and sofa, chicken and yoghurts - this is a miracle for true believers. Dear wizards with big open hearts, it is in our power to work more miracles for our neighbors ...

  -Araksi, how did your life change after our publication?

  Araksi: It will not be an exaggeration if I say that after the publication of a story about us, our life has changed dramatically. We used to eke out a miserable existence, struggling for survival every day. We used to wear jackets and winter shoes at home, and we still could not get warm in any way, and now, thanks to you, we have a heater... Our room has become so much cozier, because we got such a beautiful table and chairs, where we dine all together. Look what a sofa we have! It's so comfortable! We had no place to lie down, our old sofa creaked so loudly and was about to fall apart at any time... They gave us a stove, brought food, gave us money... I have never felt so much attention and love! My children are happy - it’s the most important thing. I am very grateful to the Fund.

  -We are so happy, Araksi! What do you remember the most? Maybe you remember the names of those who lent a helping hand to you?

  Araksi: I remember everyone who responded, who came to visit us, who called us... Imagine the complete strangers brought food to my children, and one young man even topped up my mobile balance. I should mention four friends who brought us a stove and food: chicken, sausage, fruits, yoghurts - my children have already forgotten how they taste. Now it is a pleasure for me to cook yummies.  And how not to mention the person who saved my son's life? The dentist said that if we have not gotten to him on time, then the cyst on my son's tooth could have develop into a malignant tumor... I don’t even want to think that we could have missed the moment - I would never forgive myself that! And this great woman, she did not even tell me her name, assumed the cost of Yura's treatment - it was a significant amount. Teona Danelia, a surgeon from Tbilisi, is also very worried about my son’s health, she often calls and supports us. I have no words to express my gratitude to the people, who not only made our life better, but also saved the life of my son! It’s hard to believe, but it’s true! I will ask the Lord to take care of each of you, my dear ones!

  - Thank you for your kind words, Araksi. Was there any respond from the local authorities?

  Araksi: No, unfortunately...

  - Araksi, have you expected to get such support from the friends of the Fund? Tell me about your emotions.

  Araksi: I really believed that caring people would respond - if it were not for their compassion and help, I don't know what would have happened to my children, maybe we would have already starved to death... I always hoped for the help... But I could not have expected to get such support, especially in that difficult time, when people are out of work, and there is a pandemic and crisis in the country. I would never have earned enough money for my son's treatment, for buying stove, heater, and furniture - these are just gifts of fortune! My kids were amazed to see so many sweets! When I see them happy, I forget about all the difficulties that I had to go through. It's worth living for such moments of joy that they gave us!

  - Araksi, you are so emotional speaking about the Fund’s help. What does it mean to you?

  Araksi: All the trials and betrayals, losses, and disappointments, which I went through, made me weaker morally and physically. I resisted this in every possible way, but it still seemed to me that I started losing hope and faith... We lived from hand to mouth, the children could not sleep because their feet were freezing... I was already in despair, but you brought me back to life - I have hope, I smile again, I rejoice every day, I am happy that we have a roof over our heads, that the children have food and they are with me. Isn't that enough to thank the Almighty? You are the proof that God heard all my prayers - we are not alone, and my children still have a chance for a better life!  Thank you for making us rejoice again!

  - Araksi, we are very happy that we managed to help you. I’d like to talk to your kids. Anna, how are you doing? Do you like the gifts the new friends brought you?

  Anna: Of course, we liked it! Now my toys do not feel lonely - they fit on the new sofa, and we all sleep together. We had no stove before, but now my mother cooks all sorts of yummies - she baked a cake that I like so much, and I helped her... We have a heater now and it's warm at home - there is no need to wear a jacket ... And I also want to say thank you to all the people who brought me gifts and sweets! They will come to visit us again, won’t they?

  - Of course, dear! Yura, how do you feel yourself?

  Yura: Visiting the dentist was a little bit scary at the beginning, but my mother said that there was no other way and I need to endure a little bit to get cured. Now I feel better, my doctor is very good and kind... Thank you for helping! My mother used to be in a bad mood all the time, she cried... I don't even remember her being so happy!

  - Yura, we wish you to get well soon! Araksi, let’s continue our conversation. Are there any problems left that we still could help you to solve?

  Araksi: I am embarrassed talking about my problems, you have done so much for our family! If anyone will decide to help us, we will be grateful for any help - foodstuffs, clothing... We will no longer be applicable for subsidies from March, and I know that it will be difficult for us to pay for utilities ... And I would really like to renovate these peeling walls and change the door, so that Yura and Anna would feel comfortable being at home - my children also have the right to have a beautiful and carefree childhood... I will never tire of thanking everyone who helped! God bless you!

  Dear friends! The Markarian family is in dire need, they huddle in one room and live in complete poverty, hoping only for compassion of good people. They will be grateful for any help: foodstuffs, clothing, financial support. Maybe with our joint effort we will manage to help this poor lonely woman to renovate her room, so that the Markarian family will become a little bit happier...
