When 5-year-old Nato rolls her eyes and throws her head back as if her spine is about to break, it looks creepy. And when she screams in pain, it makes your blood curdle. It's twice as hard for her mother to see this. She sometimes dreams that everything that hurts her daughter will be transferred to her. But she does not know whether she can endure that...

If this is a dream I don't want to wake up

“I will tell this lady to take you away and bring me a doll instead of you! She's such a fidget! She’s just one year old, but it seems like there is a whole horde of children! Look, they gave me toys, but she takes them away from me,” - 8-year-old Megi looks at her sister frowning. Little Cecily, who is not even two years old, has never seen so many toys! Rather say, she has not seen them at all.

We told you about the Zalikashvili family. They have a huge problem – their 5-year-old daughter Nato is seriously ill. When she was one month old, she and her mother had an accident and they miraculously survived. The accident did not affect the mom’s health, but Nato has been suffering severe pain every single day since then. She rolls her eyes and throws her head back as if her spine is about to break. Mom dreams to take her daughter’s entire pain herself. But she is not sure she would manage to endure it.

“We have never been so happy. And it's not about things, but about support"

This story did not leave any of you indifferent, and we thank you for that. We would like to share with you those positive emotions that you managed to give this family despite the hard times we all are experiencing now… It is important for us not only to convey the pain of others, but to demonstrate that even a minor help from you can dramatically change the life of not only one person, but the whole family. Alas, it is impossible for us to make the little martyr Nato healthy again, but what you did for her mother and sisters is worth a lot!

"Replace my sister with a doll... I'm kidding, of course, but I really want a doll."

Megi (8-year-old): I haven't had so many toys in my life! And I am happy. This little girl named Cecily keeps bothering me from playing, but that's okay. Can you replace her with a doll? I'm kidding, of course. I love my sisters.

- What's the real problem with you and Cecily? You can’t share toys?

Megi: We can’t! We can’t even share our mom! As soon as I pick up something, my sister wants the same thing! It would be nice to have more toys but thanks a lot for that too! She always says about everything: “It’s mine, mine, I will not give it to you, I will not!"

"It’s mine, I won't give it to you!"

- Eka, how did your life change after we published a post about you?

Eka: I have no words. What can I say? Thanks? It won’t convey my gratitude in any way. This support made our life so much easier! Thanks to this help, we managed to solve the most significant everyday problems. We would not have been able to afford such a luxury in our entire life. Yes! These are not just home appliances for us but a luxury. God bless you!

- Eka, you are so emotional! It is so cool! Maybe you’d like to single someone out from your new friends? Do you remember their names?

Eka: I want to thank everyone who did not pass by our troubles. I never cease to be proud of being Georgian! I am proud of all Georgians who, even living abroad, don’t forget about their compatriots. Special thanks to Nika Sulashvili and all his wonderful family. Nika, being thousands of kilometers away from Georgia, did not pass by our misfortune - he lent us a helping hand from abroad. It is so exciting - words cannot convey and describe what I feel. You see, I am talking, and the tears come into my eyes. Many thanks to you! Thanks to the friends of the Fund!

“If you assemble all the blocks, you’ll get a figure taller than me! I have never had so many toys "

- I don’t even know, whether I should ask you about help from the authorities or no. Did they finally wake up after our post?

Eka: Unfortunately, there was no reaction from them, but, nevertheless, I am grateful to them for funding two out of the five operations that Nato had.

"When there is warm water at home, I feel like a human being, like a woman!"

- It is so important for us to convey your emotions to our readers. They are waiting for that so much! They rejoice together with you.

Eka: I don’t know what to start with. It is really difficult for me to find the right words to express all my feeling and all my gratitude. The most important for me is to feel that I am not alone, that I have friends. Before we met you, we used to have problems with hot water - it was so hard to bathe the children, to wash dishes. Your gift - a gas water heater - is the real salvation for our entire family. And the refrigerator!  I used to fall asleep every evening with a prayer that the night was cool, and the food did not go bad. Thanks to the TV you donated, music often sounds in our house and makes even Nato smile. You have done so much for us! My biggest problem was a wheelchair for Nato and medications. I have no words to express my gratitude. Even if I pray for everyone every day, I think even this will not be enough; I think you understand how grateful I am!

“Finally, Nato has a chance to catch a breath of fresh air and not to be locked within four walls”

Megi: And I want to thank everyone! I'm so happy that my mom is happy! I liked everything very much.

- Are there any other things left you keep dreaming about?

Megi: Yes, there are some left ... Won't my mommy get upset if I tell you about them?

-  Of course not. Our good friends would like to help you.

Megi: I really need a computer, or a phone right now. It's hard for me to study without them, and you know, I promised my mother to study well in order to become a doctor and cure Nato.

- Tell me about Nato. I already got that Cecily offends you.

Megi: Nato is the cutest creature in the world She lies and lies all the time. Sometimes she makes some sounds like a kitten. But I can’t understand what she wants. Mommy understands. Imagine, I had one doll with beautiful hair, and Cecily fluffed it up.

- What do you mean?

Megi: Well, she pulled it by the hair, and her hair got fluffed up. The doll now is good for nothing, it became ugly. It’s a pity! If only someone gave me a doll, it would be so cool! I’ll only play with it when Cecily is asleep.

– Maybe you have some more problems our readers can help you to solve?

Eka: I am embarrassed to say that, but our washing machine finally went out of order a week ago, and it's very difficult for me to wash laundry with hands. My children almost have no warm clothes for winter. But the most important thing that I want to say - are the words of gratitude to all of you, to all friends of the Fund. Thank you very much!

We can’t make this angel healthy again, but we can alleviate her suffering.

***

Friends, thanks to everyone who helped the Zalikashvili family! I hope that we will keep supporting this wonderful family, because they still have many problems left. They need washing machine and warm clothes to get through the winter somehow. Beautiful Megi really needs a doll! And a small computer so she can learn.

We manage to do a lot of good deeds together, but I still want to ask everyone once again: please read our posts and tell your friends about them. Do not pass by other people's grief, because there are only three really worthy things in this life, and these are not "plant a tree, build a house and raise a son." The first one - is to help the one who needs help, the second is to protect the one who is defenseless, and most importantly, to give hope to the one who has lost it!

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better dial the number of any of our beneficiaries. Call them and you will forget about your problems. Because they are nothing in comparison with the problems of those to whom you opened your good heart and came to help in the most difficult moment of their life.

Our problems are noting if compared... Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now... Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, talk to them. Every time you dial the number of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!

Your kindness is a chance for yourself to be happy in everything!

Friends, thanks again to all!
