"My three-month-old daughter suffocated under the lifeless body of her mother ..."

Is not it horrible and beyond comprehension? But this is not the whole story, but just its chilling end! Two years ago, David lost his three-month-old daughter, beloved wife, and grandmother in one day! A blood clot instantly killed his wife right when she was breastfeeding her baby. The baby suffocated under her mother’s body! Where was he at that time? On his way. He was informed that his grandmother had died in the hospital. This is an incredible, terrible coincidence! "Could anything be worse than that?" - you might ask. “It can be!”

This was preceded by three more deaths of his loved ones: David was ten years old when his father died on a mission, his mother got a heart attack and died a few years later, and then his brother died of liver disease.

David is 40 years old. All his life, starting from the age of 10, his most dear and beloved people just kept passing away. “Six coffins, six graves, and piece of me in each of them, - the man cannot hold back his tears, his pain bursts out of him like a storm, - If only I could give my life for them!"

He mourns his loved ones and himself along with them. “I do not know why the Lord has not taken me away yet, probably because my only dear person - my grandfather - is still alive, and he really needs me. If something happens to me, he will die too... He is completely helpless! I can do three days without food, everything that kind people give to me I keep for him. If he leaves, I will lie in the grave by him - I will have nothing else to do here! "

Take a breath, even more terrible stories await you! Be patient and courageous, you will need them to finish reading David's story to the end!

David: I've never been happy. Maybe up to ten years... Dad was a hero to me! I wanted to be like him so much. Imagine how it feels for a 10-year-old boy to find out that his father was killed in the line of duty. I died that day. Mom fell ill. She had a heart attack. She lived for 13 years after it. One could hardly call that life. We were left without a breadwinner! As soon as I was able to work, I started helping my mother. There was also my sick brother in our family. He needed medications. I used to work on construction sites, I also laid asphalt. I injured my spine several times, but I could not stop working! In 2005, my mother died. Two years later, my brother was gone. I was left with my grandparents. They were old, it was hard for them to get through their losses: first my grandmother started having strokes, then my grandfather...

- David, have you ever been happy? At least once in your life? Even for a few days?

David: I am afraid of happiness. I was happy when I married my beautiful Keti and when my daughter was born. My Niako... my savior. But I paid in full for these happy days. After another stroke, they took my grandmother to the hospital. 2019 is the worst year for me! We were worried about her. But it turns out, we had to worry about something completely different. In the evening, my wife was breastfeeding our baby, and suddenly a blood clot killed her. She died and collapsed right upon our baby... She crushed her down... Niako suffocated under the weight of her mother. Meanwhile, I was going to hospital: they called me and told me that my grandmother passed away. In a flash I lost everyone... I can’t stop thinking about: what if I stayed home?! Would I have been able to save at least my daughter?

- I have no words... Even in books I haven’t read about such tragedies.

David: The only ones left are me and my grandfather. He also had a stroke. I’m looking into his eyes, paying attention to every breath he takes. If something will happen to him, I don’t know, I will ask everyone to bury us together. What am I going to do here? What would I live for?

- For the first I can’t find any words to support or comfort someone...

David: Thanks for that. No words can comfort me right now. You understand in what state I am right now. We live on my grandfather’s pension... More precisely, my grandfather’s pension, which is 250 GEL, is spent on renting this hole. There is no money left for the bread. Our neighbors sometimes bring us something to eat when they make dinner. I save everything for my grandfather, he must not starve. I am already used to this. I can go without food for three days... My stomach hurts, but I cannot leave my grandfather without food. At this moment, we have one loaf of bread and half a jar of jam... How long will it last - I don’t know. After that I will beg, or once again I will wait for kind neighbors.

- Do you get a social allowance?

David: Of course not... They said that we are not eligible to. I don’t know why. Honestly, I have neither time nor strength or finances to figure out what’s happening. I can’t leave my grandpa alone to go somewhere and seek the truth - I have no money, no strength for that. We have nothing of our own. We sold our house to arrange funerals. I had to bury my girls somehow... (Cries.) (David could not continue our conversation, and actually there was nothing else to talk about ... He already said everything. He said everything not only in words, but also with his eyes... The dimmed eyes of a person who is not alive.)

Friends, David and his grandfather need our support. They need us! They will not survive without us. For how long can a human body stand without food? How much pain can David’s heart endure? He is still very young - only 40 years old, but he went through so many tragedies. “I died six times during my life. I won’t stand one more death. It will become our common death...” - this words sound like echo in my head. We must start acting urgently! Lives of these people depend on us.

Right now, David and his grandfather need food, hygiene products, and they need to pay room rent. They don't need anything else - just not to starve to death.
