It's so great that mom Tina can feel herself in a new way. That she can draw breath in peace at last. She always worries about her son, lives and breathes only for the sake of Gia. In October last year we wrote about this small family - mother Tina and her son Gia, who was born with a severe form of cerebral palsy:

“For the first time in my life, I woke up happy and calm,” - continues Tina. - I lived in luxury, so unusual for us, for a month.  I lived like an ordinary person. It is very unusual and pleasant feeling when you are happy because you have no worries and thoughts about what to eat, how to cook porridge when you don’t have it, how to keep warm in a cold winter.

  - Dear Tina, how did your life change after we have published the post about you?

Tinatin: Dear, we've been starving all our lives. Meat, fish, and cheese have always been a dream for us. For me, as a woman, even hygiene products were a luxury. It is very difficult to live like this, endlessly thinking about how and what to eat, to eat just to survive. And now kind people have made us very happy, filled us with happiness, extended our lives and eased our sorrows. I have always dreamed of a TV that I could turn on without any problems. My Gia loves to watch TV very much. I am very grateful to kind people, thanks God for letting me see this day when a washing machine and a gas heater appeared in my house. You know very well how necessary a heater is in such a cold and rainy winter. And the washing machine made my work much easier, and now I devote this time to my Gia, my son, who needs my attention most of all.

- Tinatin, would you single out someone from your new friends?

  Tinatin: I remember very many people, many people commented on Facebook and responded. I want to say thank you to everyone.

It is a great happiness when someone who gives you hope, who helps you selflessly appears in your life. I am immensely happy that we have a new friend, the namesake of my son - Gia. Gia is a very good person, and I am sure that the Lord sent him to us. He is a gift from God for us... When you are hungry and someone brings you food, it makes you feel grateful -and it is the most wonderful feeling. Gia brought us a month's supply of food, sweets and all the necessary things and foodstuffs. For a whole month I did not have to think at all about what to eat. It made my life so much easier and made me happy. Gia also brought an electric shaver, which my son really needed. Gia paid for utilities for a month. His help means a lot to us. But now, once again I constantly think about what to eat tomorrow, how to feed my son ...

I cannot work due to my son's health condition, and the assistance from the state is so meager that we constantly face the choice of how to distribute this small amount - to remain hungry or without medications.

 Month of happy life

– Tinatin, we understand you very well and hope that kind people will appear again, and we will see your smile and happy eyes again. Was there any feedback from the local authorities? Did they react in any way?

Tinatin: Social allowance and pension - this is the only help the state provides to us. I'm sorry, but we had no hope, and our assumptions fulfilled indeed. There was no response to our story, no reaction from their part - as if we do not exist at all and are neither their citizens nor human beings... All our hope is only on kind people, there is no one else to take care of us.

- What does this support and help mean to you?

Tinatin: Daughter, it gave me hope to survive and live. And hope is the most important thing for a human being. I did not expect help - in such a difficult time, a person no longer has expectations. Gia's health condition will not improve, I know that. My only concern now is to make his life easier, brighter. We always have only disappointments and pain, we suffer all our lives. Most of all, we needed food and appliances, and when they brought it to us, I was immensely happy,​​emotions overwhelm me, and I felt great. Imagine, we simply dreamed about food, and even seeing food makes us feel happy. Daughter, what could be greater than the fact that your dreams come true, that for at least one month you live without worries? Carefree life for us, dear, is when there is food, and we are not hungry.

- We know that Gia loves TV very much. How did he react when he saw the new TV?

Tinatin: My Gia loves TV very much, indeed. Ours was broken, and I was always afraid to turn it on. Gia was getting petulant, was in a bad mood, and then I was very worried about his condition. Now we have a very good, modern TV. Gia always sits by it. He gets distracted, calms down when he watches entertainment programs. He smiles from his heart with his open, childlike smile. He is happy and makes me happy. As a mother, I am immensely grateful to all those people who have contributed to the happiness of my son. May the Lord bless and give happiness to all of you for making me so happy.

– Tinatin, we know that you still have problems that friends of our Fund can help you to solve. What else do you need besides food?

Tinatin: Daughter, food remains our eternal, unresolved problem. After one month without worries, hell has begun again, and now I have no sugar, no flour, no salt, no other groceries at home. My child is hungry, he asks for food, and I can’t explain to him that there is nothing to eat. It is very difficult to explain this to my son, that you cannot feed him, because there is no food. When will this all end?! As a mother, my only dream is that my son does not starve. I don't want anything else. I just want us to have some food, a living wage, so that we could survive ...

Good people, dear friends! Let us caress and warm with our love Tinatin and Gia, who has the heart of a child and a pure soul. They really need that now. Let's get close to them, make friends, comfort and support them! Pure love and humanity are very important to them.
