The last thing she remembers from the good life is how happy she was when she left home on November 10th. This is how Inga looked like before she got sick, in 2017... On that wonderful and happiest day in her life, she was in seventh heaven with a beautiful fabric she bought for a coat. She dreamed of how she would show off in it, how it would suit her! And that's it... Then darkness befell her for many days.

A new coat at the cost of life!

“I have not always been that sick and paralyzed. Take care!”

REPOST, MY GOOD MAN! LET YOUR FRIENDS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORK OF MERCY!

Inga woke up one month later. She realized that something had happened to her, but did not understand what: “Where am I, why am I here, am I alive? Am I healthy?" She’s surrounded with the white walls, cords stick out from her entire body, something beeps and counts her heartbeats. While Inga was trying to understand what was wrong with her, doctors ran into the ward with the words: “God, she woke up, she came to her senses! Let her mother know that urgently! She shed so many tears... "

Inga did not immediately understand what was wrong with her. But one thing was clear - she couldn't move even a finger. She couldn’t utter even a word. She seems to be alive and not alive at the same time... What happened, what is the matter with her?

“This nightmare lasted for two years. They screwed some pieces of iron in and out of my body"

Inga: I only remember my emotions, how happy I was when I left my house, heading to the dressmaker. It was already chilly, and I was looking forward to how my new coat would warm me. I was standing at a stop when a car crashed into me at great speed. Rather, I don’t remember the car either, they told me about it later. I was in a coma for over a month. The doctors thought that I would not survive and told my mother to be ready for the worst. But, as you can see, I turned out to be strong!

   - What injuries you had?

Inga: I got concussion, bones of my arm and leg got fractured, my spine and tendons were injured. Well, I turned into mince.

  - How did you manage to recover?

Inga: I went through hell. Can you imagine anything worse than pain and despair? I was in such state for two years. For exactly two years. The tears come to my eyes when I recall that.

  - Could you please give us more detail if you can?

Inga: I laid without moving for two years - pieces of iron were sticking out of me. They screwed and unscrewed them. I couldn't even watch TV. I laid on my back and looked at the ceiling. Only God knows how many times I have imagined myself dying. I really couldn't stand it. This is the worst thing - to lie and do nothing... Such terrible thoughts came into my head. Believe me, you can't think of good things.

  - How did you manage to get out of it?

Inga: It was God’s will. I got into the right hands of good doctors. They did their best. I had been operated on thirteen times! They took out my bones, then the tendons, then they screwed in some pieces of iron, then they screwed them out. But they managed to work a miracle! Rather, I believe that God worked a miracle with the hands of my surgeons and physicians.

  - One can notice that you are a religious person.

Inga: How not to believe? How could it be otherwise? The fact that I am talking to you now is only God's will. Don’t think that I became like this after the accident. No! My whole life and the life of my family have always been in the hands of the Lord. We are refugees from Abkhazia. We fled from there 28 years ago. We miraculously survived. Then in Tbilisi we kept moving from one apartment to another. Our last shelter almost collapsed on our heads - but we managed to survive. But that's not an entire story! When I was a student, I started having severe headaches. The doctors could not understand why. I had to quit University and start treatment

- So, you haven’t even heard about a calm life.

Inga: It happened so that I had no chance to.

  - Did the doctors find a source of your headaches?

Inga: Yes. That time again God directed me to the best doctor. I was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma. The tumor was large, but they took a risk and operated me on, and I survived. Now I need recovery surgeries. I am sure that I can walk, and the doctors give me hope for that. But when my doctor told me that there was nothing, they could do to help me in Georgia and that I had to continue treatment in Turkey, I started crying. It’s a huge money - 15 thousand dollars! We could barely pay for treatment here, and now we will have to do it in Turkey. We applied for funding. The Ministry of Health financed me with 30 000 GEL. But unfortunately, this amount is not enough.

- What will this surgery give you? What do the doctors say?

Inga: If I can raise the missing amount, which is 17 thousand GEL(!!!), they will operate my arm on to restore it, they will transplant a bone from the pelvis into the arm, and separately they will operate me on to restore the nerve. They say that I will be able to move my hand after that. Now I only have sensitivity in my fingers. I also need a leg prosthesis. Now I can barely move around the apartment, to the toilet and back. The doctors tell me that I can run after the operation. But it will be later.

  - So, you decided to address the Chernovetskyi Fund. What are your expectations?

Inga: If I say that the Lord has sent me to your Fund, you may not believe me. But it is so. To be honest, I did not expect to receive money from the Ministry of Health, but I’ve got it. Unfortunately, this money is not enough. My mom said that God would give me. And right then I saw a post about your Fund helping someone. Wasn't that a sign from God? Isn't that the hand of God? So, I wrote to you. And we are talking now. Sometimes it seems that all these stories and beautiful pictures are staged, but when you really feel such attention from strangers, it is very inspiring. I know my story will not touch many people - I have read posts about really huge tragedies. But we are all human beings, and God gave us the right to fight for life, not get discouraged and keep believing.

- Inga it’s a real pleasure to talk to you. I hope your words will find their addressees and will open the hearts of hundreds of people to God! Thank you. Maybe you’d like to address our readers?

Inga: I would like to tell them that our life is not in our hands. Everything can be ruined in a second. We can lose everything, even life. And let no one think that this will never happen to them. It can happen to anyone. And we must believe that it is God who will give us the strength to survive, to overcome death, we must hope for the help of the people He sends to help us. That's it!

"Only God can give us the strength to overcome death and live on."

Dear friends! To say that Inga is in need is to say nothing! There is such a heartache hidden behind her cheerful voice and optimism - it cannot be conveyed in words. We can easily help her, and more to ourselves. Even a little help may work a miracle and put this person back on her feet. Inga, we will do our best, all together we will do our best and it will work out.

Friends, Inga Gogokhia has no one to address for help. We are her last hope. Because treatment, rehabilitation and expensive medications are her only chance to start living a full-fledged life.

You can visit her in person and provide her with all possible help. Her address is: Tbilisi, Didi Dighomi, 6 Avtandili Str.

Every time you can help someone, just do it and rejoice that God answers someone's prayers through you! Let’s show our mercy and make Inga believe that miracles happen! She believes in God!

We are sure that all together we will manage to change her life.
