A warmly wrapped child sits by the old creaky table, on a broken chair, in a pile of old and torn clothes, and picks up breadcrumbs with his tiny fingers, swallowing them greedily. Not a single crumb must fall down. They are worth their weight in gold! She sniffs her piece of bread, then puts it to her cheek, as if she had never tasted anything more delicious than bread. And so it is, only instant soup from the store is tastier than bread. But it is expensive - it costs 70 tetri!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

"It’s my bread! I won’t give it to anyone, and you, ma'am, don’t look at me like that! I won't give it to you…”

Don't listen to him, ma'am. He's just kidding! In reality, he's kind! He'll give it to you! I can share water with you. I can bring a lot of water.”

Five-year-old Sandro demonstrates his strength to us! What a smart boy he is, what a great mommy’s helper. He brought water from the yard for his sisters and mother. "I'm supposed to have candy for this, right?" - he asks. And when we ask him what else he needs besides candy, he answers: "I can't talk, I am just hungry."

Nine-year-old Shako doesn't know what he wants either. Children fell out of a habit to dream. They just can't

“I don’t ask for anything for myself, bring food for the children,” - he says in a low voice. He is embarrassed that he has to beg, that life has turned them into beggars. “We don’t even have warm clothes to go to school and not get cold on our way. We have no shoes. Look, we wear summer slippers. Sometimes I’m so embarrassed, I just want to hide somewhere”.

I do not know what to answer the children in this case, how to support or encourage them. I do not know what words to choose so that they believe that they are not superfluous in this world. What to say to children for whom even tap water is a luxury?

This is drinking water

And this water is for washing You can do it right in this room, in the little basin

– Shorena, why do you have so many bottles of water in your room?

Shorena: What else can we do? There is no water at home, no toilet. You have to bring it from the yard. But how can I want more? I rent this room for 50 GEL per month, and can you believe that even this amount is too much for me! I owed the landlady for six months. She is very kind person - she is waiting so far. But I know that this cannot go on for long, and I will find myself in the street.

  - Do you have relatives who could shelter you?

Shorena: No, unfortunately. My brother and his family live in my parents' house. It's hard for them even without us. My four children and me can’t just go to someone. Even if they lived happily. You know what I mean.

  – What do you live on? Where is the father of the children?

Shorena: He lives his own life. Sometimes he comes to visit children, but he never helps financially. We receive an allowance of 700 GEL. On the one hand, this seems to be a large amount, but on the other hand, it is not enough. I need to pay off the debts that I collect during a month in stores. And then the money runs out. I can't even pay rent. Children are constantly hungry. If not for the social canteen, we would probably have starved to death. The kids don't like that food.

“Will you really bring us tasty sausages? And how many pieces? Will it be enough for all of us?"

Barbare (3-year-old): I love sausages! But there is always only one piece!

Sandro (5-year-old): Oh, and I would probably eat two hundred pieces of khinkali now!

Shako (9-year-old): You won’t fit in that much!

Sandro: And I'll eat, then I'll run, and then I'll eat again! And then I won’t eat for an entire year!

Shorena: When they start saying that I want to die. The tears just start flowing. I have to deny them everything. Maybe I distribute money in a wrong way? Seven hundred lari is not a small amount of money, is it?

- Are you joking? Seven hundred lari per month for five people is five lari per person per day. If you have to pay for rent and utilities and pay off debts, what should it be enough for?

Shorena: I didn't even think about it. Everything has become so expensive. I don’t even dream of buying shoes for my children.

- As far as I see, hunger and lack of clothes are not your only problem. You don't even have furniture. One bed, clothes stored in plastic bags...

Shorena: I don't even consider this a problem. Yes, we have one bed. I put the children on the bed, and sometimes I sleep sitting, sometimes on the floor. There are no cabinets either. And no clothes.

Children sleep on this bed. You will probably understand without words how uncomfortable it is for them.

Despite the fact that there is no room to store clothes, they are neatly packed and clean. I can’t even imagine how much effort mom has to take to keep this room clean.

Shako tries to fix a chair

“But Sandro obviously doesn’t think so. He found another use for the chair. And it seems like it’s fun too.”

“How did I grow up so fast? I seemed to fit in this bed "

- Shorena, let's summarize our conversation. Please address people you do not know but are eager to help you!

Shorena: Please help us, kind people. I'm not asking for myself, but for these kids. We need foodstuffs and shoes. We have no warm clothes either. Children cannot go to school. And they do not have any tablets or phones to attend school even online. I don't want them to be uneducated like me. They have to build their own life. I can't give them anything.

- Besides food and clothes, you probably also need a bed and a wardrobe?

Shorena: Oh, of course. I didn't know I could ask for that too.

- You can ask for anything!

Shorena: If someone could help me pay the rent... Is that possible?

 - There is nothing impossible for the friends of the Fund.

Here is another story that is so similar to the others. A family that dies silently, without words. Shorena screams in pain, cries in despair, but, alas, no one hears her. She is like an old, damaged radio, with no working sound. And we came and turned the sound on with all our might! So that all Georgians hear the call of an unfortunate single mother!

The family of Shorena Zazadze needs any help. They will be grateful for anything. But first of all, they need foodstuffs, beds, a cabinet, clothes, footwear, and paying rent arrears. If she is kicked out of this house, she will have nowhere to go. Her landlady is a good person, but each person has the limit of his patience.

Maybe people who can help this family not to find themselves in the street will read this story? Mayby someone can pay for rent?

You can visit them and provide them all possible help at: Signakhi municipality, Tsnori city, Alazani street, Second lane, building 12.

Every time you can help someone, just do it and rejoice that God answers someone's prayers through you!

Let’s show our mercy and make the Zazadze family believe that miracles happen, that they can live in a warm and cozy home and have a lot of food! They believe in us. Don’t let them down. Show them what generous people live in Georgia

We are sure that all together we will manage to give them unforgettable moments!
