Eliso: I will get rotten away. I have never seen happiness in my life. My parents died, my husband died too. I buried my two stepsons. I went through my daughter’s cancer. I was perfectly healthy before these terrible things started to happen. I worked day and night. There is no field in our village where I haven’t worked. Then I started having problems with my heart: a heart attacked followed by a surgery, a stroke followed by a surgery. Then I developed diabetes and got blind. I developed gangrene and they cut off my toes. There is not a whole spot on me.

- It is terrible! How can we brighten up your sad everyday routine?

Eliso: Look, I don’t have a front door, I don’t have a proper bed. It sags when I lay on it. I can hardly lay down, and I can hardly get up. I can't convey with words how much everything hurts me. It feels like I am already in hell, and I can do nothing with that. If you also help me with food, I will pray for you. God will hear my prayers. You know God hears poor people like me!
