Horrific. Horrific. Horrific. Poverty, illness, a crumbling home, and a complete lack of even the most basic necessities… Can you imagine – this household has never had a television, not even once! Our entire team at the Fund spent a long time thinking about how to title this article – how to convey everything we felt upon learning about the tragedy that has struck this good Georgian family, and how to awaken in your hearts the compassion that comes from God. Merab (12-year-old): Auntie, please tell everyone that I really, really want to live! Every single day, I dream of standing on my own two feet!  I beg you—help me walk, just like the other children in Georgian families! And please tell them from me to cherish their legs, to understand how important it is not to be disabled.
