He was born with Down syndrome. For 2 days, the doctors did not tell Darejan about this. Even quietly advised to leave her son and live a normal life. They said that she and her husband were still young, and they will have healthy children, and with such a child they will only have problems. They said that the husband will leave, relatives will turn away, neighbors will not accept it... But the parents did not even think of leaving the defenseless child, their flesh and blood!

 Raising a child in complete poverty is very difficult, and when he has health problems, life becomes hell!

  Darejan is still spoon-feeding Sandro. In addition, the boy has a skin disease, psoriasis; his skin is covered with ulcers, and any touch gives the child pain and suffering…

 – Darejan, did you know that the child will be born with problems?

Darejan: No. My husband and I would not be able to cope with all that all alone. But God sent us his angel. I won't lie, it was a shock for me! I had a difficult delivery, and the doctors did not show me the baby for 2 days! Then I asked them to give me my Sandro. When I saw him, I cried so much... They even told me to leave him and then give birth to a healthy baby! But I also left my Sandro and a year later gave birth to his brother.

– Tell us about Georgiy. How does he perceive his brother's illness?

Darejan: Georgiy is 10 years old. The brothers grew up together as twins! He is already in the fourth grade and helps me take care of my elder brother. He Dotes on Sandro. After school, having done his homework, he does not hurry to go play or watch cartoons, but sits for hours next to his brother and reads him fairy tales. She hugs him, and Sandro smiles back at him! George wants only one thing, so that his elder brother can play with him. He even gave him a ball in the hope that one day they will be able to play football together!

 – What does your husband do?

Darejan: Besiki is a great father. He doesn't sit around for a minute! He earns a living by hard physical labor. But unfortunately we have a small village, everyone here is having hard times. There is no work. He can't go anywhere to earn money! He can't leave us for a long time. We give power to each other! And I can't imagine how we'll be without him. We're a family!

– You speak of him as lovingly as if you had just returned from your honeymoon.

 Darejan: Oh, you said it. We love each other very much. Do you want me to tell you how we met? At a relative's wedding! I was invited by the bride and he was a relative of the groom. He wrote me a letter on a napkin and passed it through a friend... Then we talked on the phone, then met and it was such a surprise that we were born on the same day! November 14, 1982! It was our destiny! Besiki said he found his twin! The closest person who understood him in half a word and said that he would not let me go! We started living together.

– And does he help you with the kids?

Darejan: If it was not for them, I would not have managed everything. Our parents also helped us while they were healthy. But now they also need help.

– I would like to ask some questions to Georgiy. What are you dreaming about?

 Georgiy: I want my brother and I to play football together! You know, he's so funny. When he doesn't have any pain, he allows to hug him.  And sometimes it hurts so much that even I'm frightened of his screams…

– And besides your brother's health, do you have any other wishes?

Georgiy: Yes ... mom can I say I want a computer? Or is it better to ask for a washing machine for you?

– Georgy, don't say anything, we can see that you are a kind boy! Know that the Lord sees everything, and He will do everything to make your dream come true!

Georgiy: I know that, we love God very much! And my mother teaches me to thank Him for everything!
