Does it really happen, friends? The tragedy of the Shainidze family began on March 21, 2021. Just one spark turned their home to ashes and their lives to living nightmare. Just one spark deprived seven-year-old Isabella, five-year-old Rezi, three-year-old Azamina and one-year-old Zura of their childhood, and took away tranquility from their parents.

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

“Look, ma’am, I drew the New Year, because my mother said that this year the New Year will not come to us. Is it possible? How can it come only to someone and not to come to others?”

Just one spark made hell on earth come!

The babies got so stressed after the fire that they stopped talking.

“I remember I had a pillow and a blanket. It was warm, and now I don’t have it.  And my brother had one, and my mother too. And now we have one blanket for two, and it is not that warm"

“When the snow “comes”, then the New Year “comes” soon too. And everyone gets presents then. And now grandma says: "What gifts are you talking about - we have nothing to eat" "

How does it feel to lose everything that has been created over the years just in one second - everything that has been created by generations for a happy life of the family? It’s terrible!

“The main thing is that everyone survived,” - says grandmother Suliko, but still cries. We ran out in our nightgowns and pajamas we didn't even have time to put on our slippers. The fire took everything!

They settled in an abandoned veterinary center building which had no roof, doors and windows. Their neighbors helped them - someone brought old glass, someone brough doors. They nailed, screwed on and hammered all this together and now it looks like a hut

They don’t know whether they will manage to survive winter - it's cold and dangerous here. Everything creaks, water drips from everywhere... They survived the fire, but they are unlikely to be able to survive the cold

Now let me introduce you to the family that lives here.

Izabella (7-year-old): Let's get acquainted! I am Isabella, and these little ones are my brother, sister, and brother! After the fire, they stopped talking. Well, Zura didn’t talk yet then, he only knows how to cry. When he is not in his mother's arms, he cries all the time.

- Who is the most obedient of you?

Izabella: Of course, it's me! And Azamina is naughty! She loves to walk barefoot.

"If you don’t remind her to put on shoes, she will go on walk barefoot"

- Are the boys obedient?

Izabella: Have you ever seen obedient boys? Of course not!

- So, Santa will bring presents only to you? What do you think?

Izabella: No, I don't want that. Grandma said there would be no presents this year. We won't even have a Christmas tree. And I love decorating the Christmas tree so much. Eh...

“I even drew a beautiful Christmas tree! What if it comes to life? What do you think?"

- What present would you like to have for the New Year?

Izabella: I want panduri. Do you know such a musical instrument? It has strings and I want to learn how to play it. I want a toy tractor for Reziko and a doll for Azamina. She looks like a doll herself!

"Do not be afraid! I will "dream out" gifts for everyone! "

- And what about Zura?

Izabella: Let's give him little cars too, or he will start crying.

Sister "dreamed out” small cars for this little angel
 What would you give him?

Izabella: Ask my grandmother, too, she also wants something for the holidays. She behaved well as well!

- Suliko, tell us how it all happened! And then let’s talk about your dreams.

Suliko: We had a big house, a big family. We lived modestly - we made ends meet, but we did not starve, and did not die of the cold. We had where to sleep and what to eat. And then the fire... Everything burned down! Everything! We didn't even have time to take a single spoon out of the house. All that you see here are gifts from kind people.

Our neighbor gave us this door and windows Otherwise, animals could enter this building."

“We have no furniture. Everything lies on the floor packed in cellophane"

“This is all our “property”: six chairs, a stool, a table, a stove and two beds. This is for eight people: four kids, mom, dad, grandfather and grandmother. It’s like a fairy tale about animals getting in one tiny hut until it gets broken.”

“There is no water at home, and even in severe frosts you have to wash everything with hands in an ice-cold water!”

"And the toilet is so far away... It’s a nightmare - not a life"

- Is there any chance to restore your old house? You will freeze here! It is dangerous for children to be here!

Suliko: We took out a bank loan in the amount of 12,000 GEL. But this money wasn’t enough. We only built walls and that’s it. There was not enough money for the roof, doors, and floor. Probably we need ten thousand more to bring everything into a condition suitable for living.

“The bank does not lend us money - we have to pay off 600 lari per month. And we will have to pay for four more years! When we pay off this debt, we will take another one, if by that time we do not die of cold and hunger "

  - Six hundred GEL?! Four years?! It’s a nightmare! What do you live on?

Suliko: The allowance is 900 GEL. The bank takes 600 GEL out of them, and we are trying to survive with 300 GEL.

- How?

Suliko: We buy flour, sugar, pasta and butter. And that's it! If my son manages to earn something, then there will be meat and fruits for the children. If not, we live from hand to mouth. Neighbors don't let us starve to death.

- You addressed our Fund hoping to improve your situation. What do you think is necessary for you right now to survive the winter?

Suliko: I know that it is unreal to build a house. We really need beds, warm blankets, and mattresses. Foodstuffs, foodstuffs, and foodstuffs again. We also need a closet to store things. As I already showed you, we have everything lying on the floor. We also really need a washing machine. You just can't imagine what a pain it is to wash things in an ice-cold water.

When we left, Isabella and Rezi shouted after us:
"Don't forget to bring us a New Year!"

Another New Year story has come to an end. Rather, God forbid that this was the end! We - people working at the Chernovetskyi Fund - know that the life of the families we tell you about magically change after you read their stories and repost them for your friends. And these are not just empty words - this is actually happening. We are sure that in a few months we will report to you about our success in helping this family. They will greet you with smiles on their faces in their warm home, in warm beds and with toys. Now let's unite, let’s open our hearts to God and do what our soul tells us!

The Shainidze family needs any help. They will be grateful for anything. But first of all they need foodstuffs, diapers, a washing machine, beds and, of course, gifts for Isabella, her brothers, and sister. Toys, sweets, and panduri!

Maybe people who can help this family finish building their house will read this story? Maybe such a miracle will happen? It happened many times before!

You can visit them and provide them all possible help at: Khulo municipality, village Skhalta.
