These old people are like children! Their suffering is given to us so that we can serve the Lord and give them joy on the bright Easter day! After all, they do not have children as good as you are, dear friends!

Charity is one of the most important Christian virtues. 

When one visits their dwelling (it is neither house, nor apartment, nor room) one sees one and the same picture... Darkness, dirty and moldy walls, faces covered with a deep neck of wrinkles, despair and maybe even death in eyes... It is impossible to put it into words. Some feel disgust, some become afraid of getting old and lonely, some get afraid of such helplessness and some start crying. 

 They are old and sometimes it is even impossible to tell how old they are. But if one would look into their colorless eyes one could see youth and interesting life there.

We do not want to notice it when we are still young and successful. In fact, we are trying to run away from ourselves, denying death and old age. We think that THIS will never happen to us and that our children and grandchildren will take care of us... So did think these people.

We cling to something that brings positive emotions. But when we look through the sad photos we see the rough truth. We evade accepting life as it is, but this does not make it different. Believe us, it happens in every block of flats... Maybe at night next door an old lady is crying of helplessness, or maybe an old man is clenching his fists in misery... 

We are sorry that this post is not festive at all. But unfortunately if we do not tell you about it nothing will change. And maybe knowing about this we would have a willing to help them... At least on such a bright holiday as Easter. We want them to have an Easter cake and painted eggs with a lit candle on their table on this bright holiday…
