If the title shocked you, we do not recommend reading the post about the Chikvaidze family. Those words are not the most horrifying part of this story. The family consists of four people: Giorgi, his wife Nato, and their two charming children, 4-year-old Dimitri and 2-year-old Anna. Currently, only Anna is free from any illness, as the rest of the family members cannot boast of good health. Giorgi suffers from epilepsy and a herniated spine. Nato has mental health issues. She speaks with difficulty. Sometimes she falls into a deep depression. How not to fall into depression? Her children are all alone in the world, surrounded by danger!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

You can still see the marks of the dog's fangs on little Dimitri's face, ... and he could have not survived

Another second and the father would not have been able to save his precious baby!

Little Dimitry, after his father miraculously pulled him out of the jaws of an angry dog, still can't come to his senses.  Fluid constantly accumulates in the child's head, bite sites fester, and his temperature constantly rises. Frequent headaches prevent him from sleeping.  It is not yet clear how this incident will affect the unfortunate child's future. Dimitry himself does not remember anything, but when his head hurts, he cries loudly and points to his wounds, saying "boo-boo."  As his father explained, this means "It hurts."

- Giorgi, you told us such horrors! I don't even know where to begin telling your story... let's start with you.  When did your epilepsy start?

Giorgi: Epilepsy entered my life when I was a child, at the age of 10.  Since then, it has become an integral part of my life, depriving me of a normal existence.  I remember the first seizures; people were afraid of me. You know, in the village, people are not very educated, and they thought it was contagious. I remember how they avoided me instead of comforting me. I am now 27 years old, and these seizures still exhaust me to the limit. I never know when they will start or what will happen afterward. They turn me into a lump of flesh and bones, robbing me of control over my own body and mind.  I am sick - physically and emotionally, and I always feel the bitterness of my condition.

Even pigs wouldn't be able to live in this 'paper' house

- You mentioned, that because of this illness, you decided to run away from home.

Giorgi: Yes, I didn't want to be a laughingstock and a disgrace to my family. I asked my spiritual father to take me to a monastery.  I cried and begged him. I wanted to be with God. I knew that God is the only one who loves us no matter how sick we are. I was sheltered in the monastery.  I helped the monks with construction and in the garden.    And in the evenings, I prayed. They taught me everything. They taught me how to accept all sorrows and be grateful to the Almighty.

"My family is a gift from God for all my sufferings.  I don't want them to go through the horrors I went through"

- How did you meet Nato?

Giorgi: It was probably God's will. The Lord brought us together. I was sent from the monastery to her village for construction work, and that's where we met.  I realized that I should take care of her, that she wouldn't survive in this cruel world without me.

- Does she not have parents or any close relatives?

Giorgi: She does, but they live in extreme poverty - sixteen people in one small house, barely fitting. I can't say that Nato was unnecessary there, but I believe she's much better off with me.

Mom Nato can't always cope with the children.  It's dangerous to leave her alone for long!

- And what about you?

Giorgi: She has a challenging personality due to her illness. She can be very emotional. Sometimes she cries without reason, sometimes she stays silent... I can't leave the children alone with her for long.  And our living conditions are unbearable too.

- Have you ever regretted your decision to get married?

Giorgi: Never! Meeting Nato changed my life. Despite all the difficulties, I am grateful to God that I have a family now. That my lineage will continue... I'm confident that my children will have better luck than Nato and me. I hope with God's and your help, I can improve our living conditions at least a little bit.

The room has no window. Light only enters through the cracks in the walls

This opening also serves as a window

And the hole in the wall is also called a window...

- One can hardly call the way you live “conditions”.

Giorgi: You're right, even pigs wouldn't agree to live in such conditions. And we live in this small wooden structure the size of a chicken coop, where there is no light, water, or gas. There are no windows here either, light comes in only through the cracks.  And when it rains or the wind blows, it's better not to stand near the walls.  I cook only liquid food on a wood-burning stove, trying to make more out of what we have. I put whatever we have into the water - potatoes or pasta, add some greens, and that's how we deceive the feeling of hunger. My wife and I can still bear it. Both of us come from poor families. We're used to living and eating like this, but we're very worried about the fate of our children.

This old rusty pot is the only toy of the beautiful Anna

The children have no other pleasure than playing in the sand with pots

- Dimitri, at his four, has already experienced all the horrors...

Giorgi: I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy what I had to go through. I don't like to recall this story. About one year ago, I had a seizure.  While I was convulsing, our dog, for some reason or out of fear, latched onto Dimitri and started biting him.

It grabbed him by the head, perhaps intending to tear it off.

In shock, my wife froze and couldn't move.  My seizures sometimes last for a long time, but somehow, by the grace of God, I regained consciousness. When I saw what was happening, some force lifted me to my feet, and I separated my son from the dog.  I couldn't tell if my son was alive as I held his bloodied body in my arms... I desperately wanted to feel his eyes, nose, and mouth... I'm sorry, I can't continue with the story.  I'm afraid I'll get too stressed and have another seizure."

The only person in the family who is currently healthy is 2-year-old Anna... but how long will it last?  How can she stay healthy in such an environment?

- What do you see as salvation?

Giorgi: My salvation lies in the hope of a better future. I believe that there are good people somewhere who can help us get out from this abyss.  I can't do it alone anymore. It is crucial to improve the condition of our home at least slightly. Build proper walls. Install at least one window. I can't cope with it on my own, maybe you can help me bring electricity to the house? Set up at least bathroom. We only have one dilapidated bed - that is also very much needed.  There are no electrical appliances, and what use is there for appliances in a house without electricity?  The children also lack toys and clothing...

- What do you see as the meaning of life?

Giorgi: Despite all the hardships, difficulties, and suffering, I find the meaning of life in the love for my family and the belief in a more just future.  I believe that every day, as we overcome difficulties, we become stronger and closer to the true purpose of our existence.

Fate can be unfair and cunning. In the world, there are families that face incredible trials, where each day is filled with pain and difficulties. Such is the story of the Chikvaidze family, where each member fights their own personal problems. The story of this family is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent. The future of the entire family hangs by a thread. That is why, by our joint efforts, we must change their destiny. Together, we can pave their path to happiness.

I urge each and every one of you to join this great work of mercy. Perhaps we may not be able to completely rid them of their illnesses and suffering, but every help and support we provide will be a precious seed of hope in their lives.

Let us be generous in heart and generous in our actions, helping them financially, emotionally, and morally. We can raise funds for the medical examinations of the children and parents by good specialists, improve their living conditions, provide clothing for the children, and give them toys... and the rest is up to you. First of all, we simply need them to survive!

Let us not stand aside and ignore their plea for help.  Let's share their story with others, drawing attention to their struggle. Together, we can overcome any difficulties and give them at least a glimmer of hope for a brighter future.

Please help the Chikvaidze family. May our solidarity and compassion become a ray of light in their dark days and give them strength and faith in a better tomorrow.

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap." (Luke 6:38)
