I am a realist, and my main need is food, medications, and diapers -everything that makes my daily torment easier. Well, I was embarrassed to dream. I thought no one cared about my dreams.No matter that there was no water heater, and my bathing was a torture for me, my sick wife, and her mother, dying of cancer.No matter that my mobile phone was broken, and I was not able to call the ambulance if I felt very bad.
I was really mistaken…The Fund put the best people together and they made my dreams come true.You extended my life for a few more years, I swear! I thank God that you appeared in my life, otherwise it would have turned into real hell on earth. You are my guardian angels! I think I have not lived in vain since I have earned such love from you! Nino: I dedicated my entire adult life to my husband. He is seriously ill, he was operated on 40 times, his legs were cut off piece by piece, and now he is completely helpless. He won’t live long without me.
– How do you feel yourself?
Nino: I had 2 strokes, a heart attack. I was even operated on my heart. I have many other diseases that I don’t even know the name of. But you know, over all these years I have learned not to think about myself and live the life of Malkhaz.
– You probably had many plans and ideas when you were young…
Nino: Yes, I dreamed a lot. I got a good education, but I could not work. To be honest, now I don’t remember what exactly I dreamed about.
– What are your dreams now?
Nino: Now I have none. Now all my thoughts are only about how to save the life of my husband, put my son’s health in order, and so that his grandson does not get sick.
– Maybe there are some things that can make your life easier?
Nino: Food, medications, and diapers! And I really need a water heater. Do you know how hard it is for sick people to live without warm water?
