I was sick, hungry, I was freezing, no one needed me… As they say, there was no one to bring a glass of water to me, right? It is about me. I thought, let it be so! How much can one suffer? I don’t even remember when I was waiting for something good for the New Year for the last time … The whole world rejoices at something, but I felt as bad as it was yesterday and how it would be tomorrow… But you, my dears, gave me this joy again, you wrapped me in care, as only a mother can: to feed, and warm, and support with a kind word … I could not even dream of a refrigerator, heater, medications, food! Thank you, thank you a lot, genatsvale! Now I will ask God that this is not the last winter for me!

Friends, I can imagine how happy you are to hear these heartfelt words of our old sick and lonely children! The words they wrote as gratitude is a gratitude to everyone who donated money to prolong their lives – every day of life is the most precious thing in the world.
I know for sure that you and I understand that their problems will not disappear until the very moment they face God!
Please, keep helping them. If there is any chance, be sure to call these wonderful people and tell them that there are no lonely old people in Georgia! They are our fathers and mothers, grandfathers and grandmothers, and there is no one but us to take care of them.
Anzori: I’m really afraid of winter! I’m cold! I will have time to freeze in the cold ground, and now I dream so much about a warm bed so that I can wrap myself up and not think I could stop breathing from the cold. How could I ever imagine that such an old age awaits me?
– Probably you regret about many things? What would you do differently if you could live your life again?
Anzori: I wouldn’t worry about trifles. I would do what I wanted to do and not do what I didn’t want to. I would travel and see the world! Nothing remains in old age except for memories.
– What are you dreaming about now?
Anzori: About having medications, food. With so much pleasure I would eat a bowl of hot soup, then I would drink tea with biscuits, which my mother made, lie down in a warm bed, turn on the TV to see what is going on in the world, and fall asleep sweetly, like in childhood … But I have nothing from the above now. Well, I have only boiling water and tea brew, which I have been using for a week now. Eh…
