Her tongue is unresponsive and sluggish. Her eyes see nothing… This is what the stroke did to Ketevan. No, this is what a state can do to a person. Look at the helpless Ketevan and be careful! This is the high price one can pay for trying to get help from the state.

Then I came back home, but I felt bad again and we had to go to Germany again, and they removed my spleen and something else. Then they gave me a lot of medicines, did some radiation, transfusions, and chemotherapy to shrink and stop the cancer. I felt better. I won’t die,

What is it like to know that your child’s time is limited? And even if he doesn’t pass away before the age of two, he will never fully recover, and he will never be able to walk? To keep Dima alive, it takes just a little – our help!
Doctors have already done their part – they have diagnosed and prescribed treatment, but sustaining the child’s life comes at a high cost for his mother. Dima has a stoma in his throat that he breathes through, requiring regular cleaning. Unfortunately, his mother can’t afford to buy new sterile tubes, so she has to reuse old ones multiple times. This poses a significant risk to Dima’s weakened immune system.
“When I received my son’s diagnosis, it felt as if the ground had been ripped from beneath me. It was like being drenched in icy water! I felt so physically unwell that the doctors had to help me regain my composure. Spinal muscular atrophy type 1 – I was already aware of it… it was the most devastating news for my dear Dima.”

Two years ago, Ekaterina received a terrible diagnosis – cancer! She had a mastectomy and underwent chemotherapy. The disease would recede, then return. My God, she suffered so much, the poor woman! How hard it was for her to part with her beloved and loving children before her death! But what her husband did to her is beyond comparison with even cancer. He abused her so much that he ended up in jail for it! He was a scoundrel: he never cared for his children. These poor children thank God every day for saving them from their mother, who beat and starved them! What a nightmare! Mariam, Nikoloz, and Tengo deprived of almost everything lived in a house, surrounded by filth and chaos. Their father was in prison at the time, falsely accused by their own abusive mother of domestic violence, unaware of what was happening.  You will be horrified by what these children revealed to the foundation’s reporter. She never cooked for us; we lived on bread and tea every day. We were always hungry! There was food in the fridge, but we weren’t allowed to touch it. At night, she’d leave us alone and go to the neighbors. I don’t even know what she was doing there!”
