Barbara: When our house burned down, all my dolls were there burning and crying. I wanted to save them, but they wouldn’t let me. Everything was cracking and bursting there. And now I don’t have any dolls, or pretty “dresses,” or my beloved bicycle. And who can I ask for them now? Mom is crying all the time and says there’s we don’t even have any money for bread… its not the right time to ask for dresses and dolls..
