I dream of having a toy car with big wheels, where all the doors, the hood, and the trunk open, and the steering wheel turns. Oh, and if it has a remote control too, I would jump for joy! I have never had such cars. You might be surprised, but I don’t have any toys at all. My mom can only afford bread. She raises my brother and me all alone. My dad died when I was still in my mom’s belly.
Mom says I should be patient about getting a toy car, and I am patient. I take a pot lid and pretend it’s a steering wheel. That’s how I play. And also, I really, really want to have a bicycle! My very own! A two-wheeler with a gear shifter. All my friends have bikes, but I don’t. I watch them ride from a distance, and it makes me very sad.
