This is three-year-old Movses. Look at his face—he’s a true angel, sent from heaven to earth. But sadly, this world can often be unfair to such little angels. Look at his red cheeks, flushed from the cold. The poor child clasps his frozen little hands together, trying to warm them. This wonderful green-eyed boy doesn’t have warm clothes. And now it’s getting colder. Winter is just around the corner, bringing long, freezing months ahead. Movses dreams of having a warm jacket, sweaters, and boots.

Movses has six siblings. The children don’t even have beds to sleep in. Poor kids are uncomfortable even sleeping. They have to take turns sleeping during because there aren’t enough beds for everyone. This is so unfair!

He was cold, hungry… and then fell asleep just like that.

This is Movses’ twin sister, three-year-old Tsovinar. Look at her tearful face. Oh God, there’s nothing more heartbreaking than the tears of a child in need. She wants to play, but she doesn’t have any dolls or even a teddy bear. This green-eyed little girl dreams of a doll with blonde hair and green eyes just like hers, dressed in a sparkling dress.
