Eleven-year-old Angelina dreams of having toys and warm winter clothes. This sick little girl has never worn a new dress to a school celebration. Let’s help this blue-eyed angel make her dreams come true.

This is Angelina, a beautiful and delicate child, as gentle as an angel. She has already undergone two surgeries, including a partial removal of her colon. The doctors are still working to establish an exact diagnosis. Angelina urgently needs another operation to remove the terrible growth on her abdomen, which you can see in the photo. She has many dreams, but so far, none of them have come true.

Look at her broken, bald doll. It’s likely a relic from Soviet times, the kind of toy you’d only find in a landfill. Yet this doll is precious to Angelina. Do you know why? Because it’s the only doll she has. The little girl dreams of new, beautiful dolls. She dreams a lot… but her dreams remain unfulfilled.

Angelina (11 years old): “I’ve never had new toys. I love dolls more than anything, but all I have is this broken one. Other kids refuse to play with it.  But I carry it everywhere, hugging it tightly. So what if it looks like something from a trash heap? I still love it. But I dream of having long-haired Barbie dolls.”

This winter, in the freezing cold, all she has to wear is thin, shabby clothing. Angelina shivers from the cold and dreams of celebrating the New Year in warm, cozy clothes. She doesn’t even own a pair of warm boots. Dear God, what has this little angel done to deserve a life so different from other children? Why can’t she find joy in the snow or the arrival of the New Year like they do?

Angelina (11 years old): “I think I’m the only child who doesn’t look forward to New Year’s. Why? Because I can’t wear a beautiful dress to the school celebration. I also can’t play in the snow like other kids because I don’t have winter clothes.
 I feel so sad. I dream of a miracle, of my wishes coming true. But honestly, Auntie (speaking to the reporter), I’ve already lost hope.”

Kind-hearted people, the fate of this blue-eyed girl’s dreams now rests in your hands. Will the stars shine in her dim eyes this New Year, or will her last glimmer of hope fade away?
