Saba has spent his entire young life saving money for football boots and a sports kit. This has been the ultimate dream of the little Georgian boy, but he ended up spending all the money from his piggy bank on baby formula for his younger brother. Let’s make Saba’s dream come true. Twelve-year-old Saba sleeps on a thin mattress laid on the damp ground because his family doesn’t even have a proper floor in their home.  A soft bed and a warm blanket are things he can only dream about. Saba comes from a large family with five children.  When he gets home from school, unlike his classmates who rest and play, Saba goes out to collect firewood so his siblings won’t freeze in the cold. The family lives on social allowance, which barely gets them through the month. Saba dreams of becoming a football player and trains hard to achieve his goal. Recently, his team won a national championship in Georgia. But to keep playing football, Saba desperately needs shin guards, boots, and a new sports kit. His current ones are now too small. Unfortunately, his parents simply cannot afford them. So, Saba decided to save up money himself. But he spent everything he had saved from his piggy bank to buy baby formula for his younger brother, leaving himself with nothing once again.

Friends, Saba believes in Christmas miracles and the kindness of people who help those in need out of the goodness of their hearts—not just during the holidays but all year round. Let’s be kind-hearted magicians for Saba! What would it take for us to come together and make his dream come true?
