Mate (6 years old): “You know, auntie, I only allow myself to dream before bedtime. I have a dream, but I don’t tell my parents about it because my little brother is very sick – he can’t walk on his own, he has cerebral palsy. Mom and dad spend all their money on his treatment.
Of course, it makes me sad, and sometimes I want to cry because my mom can’t buy me even a small gift. But I try to hold back my tears so she doesn’t get upset.
More than anything, my brother and I dream of going to a stadium to watch the Georgian national football team play. We want to see our favorite players – Kvaratskhelia, Mamardashvili, and others – with our own eyes! We love football so much and always cheer for our team!
