For 10 years, Iamze has been moving on her knees, crawling through mud and puddles when it rains! The toilet is in the yard! There's no way to take a proper bath at home. There's no running water! It's horrifying! Read and feel this tragedy with your soul, and REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! Help this unfortunate soul in any way you can and HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY! "Life of a dog, and I live like a dog myself. I wouldn't wish such a fate on my worst enemy," Grandma Iamze barely manages to speak. Each word is a struggle for her, she pauses between words, breathes heavily, and then continues to speak. The sufferings a person can endure in their lifetime can sometimes seem unimaginable. We rarely think about the trials a human soul can withstand until we hear about incredible stories like Iamze's. Her world on all fours is a world of fears, pain, and insurmountable torment.

Her entire life on her knees!!! Iamze loved her husband so much that after his death, she fell to her knees and can't seem to get back up!

"I don't know how I've managed to live like this for ten years"

"Life of a dog, and I live like a dog myself.  I wouldn't wish such a fate on my worst enemy," Grandma Iamze barely manages to speak. Each word is a struggle for her, she pauses between words, breathes heavily, and then continues to speak. The sufferings a person can endure in their lifetime can sometimes seem unimaginable.  We rarely think about the trials a human soul can withstand until we hear about incredible stories like Iamze's.  Her world on all fours is a world of fears, pain, and insurmountable torment.

- Iamze, I look at you, and it hurts me... How do you manage to live like this?

Iamze: What can I do, dear? I've learned to crawl like this for ten years now. I can't even remember how it happened to me. My memory isn't so good. I can't recall when my husband passed away. Sometimes it feels like it was just recently, and then I remember, it's been quite a while. Oh, dear, old age is not joyful!

- Did you lose your legs immediately, or did you gradually start feeling unwell?

Iamze: You know what I used to be like? I never sat idle for a moment. I worked my whole life on a tea plantation. Then my legs started hurting, going numb.  Then it became difficult for me to stand, I wanted to lie down all the time. But how can a woman lie down? So, I stood on my feet until the very end.  And then, suddenly, I couldn't.  People told me: "Lie down, sit, we'll do everything for you."  Let them try lying down themselves within four walls.  Am I not alive?

"You can't even imagine what a struggle it is for me - to stand up from my knees and sit on the bed"

- How do you move around then? It must be painful. Have you tried using a wheelchair?

Iamze: I have one, but I can't use it.  As soon as they put me in it, my head starts spinning, and I can't breathe.  I feel like I'll collapse and hurt myself... God, it's so terrifying! Only a few times a year, if I really need to go to the doctor or renew my pension, I take sedatives in advance and sit in it, and even then, someone must hold my hand or be nearby. In other cases, I won't sit in that hellish contraption for any amount of money!  Call me whatever you like: a cranky old lady or someone who's lost their mind, but I can't do it! I know I won't fall from my knees.

"I can't sit in a wheelchair, I'm scared. My head starts spinning, everything goes dark before my eyes, and I can't breathe"

- Does that mean you don't leave your house's yard?

Iamze: That's right!  They sit me on the porch, and I sit there, reminiscing about the good days. With each passing year, only the bad memories resurface. There aren't even any photos left to look at and remember who I used to be.  Our house is old, it belonged to my mother-in-law's parents, and the roof leaks.  All the photos got soaked by rainwater, and they got ruined.

- Does anyone take care of you?

Iamze: My son and daughter-in-law live with me.  Without them, I would have died long ago.  There's also a woman who comes and helps. Our local municipality assigned her to me - she comes free of charge. I can’t afford to pay for a caregiver! I can't even afford medication for my blood pressure, let alone food. I wanted us to get enrolled in our social canteen, but there are no places available.

"That's how I wash myself because there's no water at home.  And when the weather is rainy, by the time I go out to wash up in the yard, I come back home looking like a pig"

- Do you have only one son?

Iamze: I had two sons, but one died in infancy.  Only one remains - Nodar.  May God bless him and his family. I got married late, I was 32 years old. And in my time, that was considered shameful. People would gossip:  "Look, the old maid is getting married." If I had known the kind of old age that awaited me, perhaps I wouldn't have gotten married at all.

"Would anyone believe now that I was once a beautiful girl? There's not even one photograph left from my youth"

- Is there something we can do to make your life a little easier?

Iamze: The only thing I ask of you is to help me set up a bathroom. You can't even imagine what a trial it is for me to go to the toilet.  You can’t imagine how hard it is for me to go out to the yard and wash my hands. I just don't want to live like this anymore. And when the weather is rainy, I'm covered in mud like a pig. Help me with this, that's all I ask. And we'll somehow survive without medication, sustaining ourselves on bread alone.

"Help me, I can't live like this anymore!"

- Perhaps you need a more comfortable bed or chair?

Iamze: I really don't know. Maybe that would be necessary, but I haven't even thought about it. Right now, the matter of life and death is having a bathroom in the house.  As for the rest, you can figure it out for me. I'm an old, sick woman, I've lost the ability to think for myself.

In our world, there's an overwhelming amount of suffering that's beyond words.  Every one of our stories involves a real person, not some fabricated tale. And you can't just invent something like this – your imagination wouldn't suffice. It's heart-wrenching how these unfortunate individuals endure their pain and eagerly await our assistance. Ignoring them would require turning a blind eye and a deaf ear. Countless people navigate their challenges and carry the weight of their suffering, struggling to bear its burden.  They're not looking for miraculous interventions, but they do anticipate our help, understanding, and support. Their eyes are filled with hope, and their hearts continue beating, even amid the challenging circumstances.

Let's not stand indifferent to their suffering; instead, let's foster kindness and uplift each other!  A solitary act of compassion, an extended hand, a word of hope – these have the power to reshape the world.
