“Mommy isn't really crying, just pretends crying,” - says 4-year-old Nina. “We play mommy-daughter, and now my Mommy is my daughter. I used to be her daughter, but she turned into a baby. She can't walk and speaks like a baby, so softly - I don't understand anything. I must give her water and wipe away tears, as if she can't do it herself. And like a baby she can't put herself to bed... We have such a game”. Nina, the dear child, is being cunning; she doesn't want to upset the foundation journalist. She's tired of the tears of those around her! For the past year, all she's heard from adults is how sorry they feel for her because her beloved mommy, who not long ago carried her in her arms, is now seriously ill and only quietly moans in despair.

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS  FIND THE WAY TO GOD!

Little Nina is happy that she and her mom have many new friends. It makes her feel calmer.

"Grandma used to not let me sleep with mom," says 4-year-old Nina. "She said mom's bed is small and we won't fit together, and you can't push mom. It's good that you brought a big bed, and I can sleep with mom. I make sure mom takes all the medications you brought.  I also make sure my new teddy bear and doll eat and drink on time."

Smart little Nina is glad that she and her mom Zhanna have so many friends now, so she feels calmer for her sick mom. Many of you came to help Zhanna Kenchkhadze, who was completely immobilized by muscular atrophy, and Zhanna's whole village supported her too.

"This doll only gets salad from me, so she doesn't gain weight.  But she asks me to share sausages with her."

Nina (4 years old): When I wake up in the morning, I kiss mommy on the nose, and cheek, and neck, and tell her that I love her. And mommy is happy that I'm with her, she looks into my eyes and kisses me. And grandma had surgery on her kidney. And we got new windows installed, look: in this room, in the bath, and in the kitchen. And grandma got a big new gas stove, and I got a toy kitchen.

"Grandma got a big gas stove, and I got a toy kitchen."

- So many news from you, Ninochka! Natia, how do you feel after the surgery?  Is it hard for you to do household chores?

Natia (Zhanna's mother): I am much better! The sick kidney drained all my strength, I would tire from simple tasks, couldn't even get up in the morning. So the family let me go to the hospital for a week, my husband and son looked after Zhanna. I'm so grateful to all of you for helping our family, I love you all so much! Life would be hard without kind people.

Nina: I know who those people are—the Chernovetskyi Fund! They sent me my teddy bear, and doll, and shoes, and jacket, and velvet dress...

"Andria saw me in the garden in this dress and said I was beautiful.  Grandpa and Uncle Makho say the same thing too."

- Nina, you mentioned last time that you wanted 'showing-off' things.  Now you have everything beautiful. So, where are you going to show off?

Nina (rolls her eyes, smiles mischievously): In the kindergarten in front of Andria. He's my friend. He already liked the dress and shoes, which means he liked me (smiles). Or if I want to go to Georgian dancing or for a walk, I should have beautiful clothes, right?

- Sure!

Nina: The toy kitchen is also good. Grandma gives me real food from her kitchen: apples, potatoes, bell peppers. I chop them finely with this plastic knife and make a salad for the teddy bear and dolls.  Whoever doesn't eat gets dragged by the hair.

Nina: "You sent me an obedient teddy bear, he eats everything I cook, and sleeps when I tell him to.  He also likes listening to my rhymes."

As for me, I love yogurt, matsoni, buckwheat, sausages, dumplings, and juice. And Mom loves sausage. When the Chernovetskyi Fund gave grandma money, she went and bought all of this at the store.

Natia: We bought vitamins for Zhanna , and heart medication for me. We have a new gas heater. You came in winter, you saw how much snow we have here. These PVC windows are the best salvation from our frosts.  Now both my Zhannochka and the baby will be warm.  I'm impressed by the extent of the help: I thought only the bath was supposed to have windows installed during the project, but you replaced them in all the rooms.

Natia: "For so many years, we've been stuck, without money, unable to even provide comfort for our sick daughter. I was thrilled that you managed to solve the issue of windows and doors at once."

Natia: "PVC windows are just what we need for the snowy winters in Nichbisi."

Nina: Oh, quiet! Mom wants to say something. Otherwise, we won't hear her!

Zhanna (struggling to speak and saying it with difficulty): "Thank you so much. I'm happy. I love you."

- Zhannochka, we love you and your entire family and wish you all the best health and everything!

Natia: My daughter's mood is lifting. It was greatly because of the fact that many people came to visit us. They comforted, cheered her up, hugged, offered help. After your project, everyone learned about the plight of my Zhanna, and new opportunities emerged. For years, we couldn't do anything without money, we couldn't even provide appropriate conditions for our sick daughter.

Natia: "My Zhanna is feeling better, so many people have given her hope."

Many then wondered how to help my Zhanna. The village made a decision—to send Zhanna to Turkey for examination. My Zhanna received new hope, a new motivation. Lord, help my Zhanna, and along with her, help all those who are ill and suffering. Thank you, Lord, for generously rewarding all the caring and compassionate people, filling their lives with great joy and happiness! It's a very emotional moment for our family, seeing funds contributed by strangers, villagers coming, Zhanna's classmates...

Nina: Everyone loves me with Mom too. They brought me waffles, candies, and cookies. And when Mom isn't crying, I'm very happy, you know?

 - Can you show me how happy you are?

Nina: This happy: I jump on the new bed like this! (She jumps.) I can do it with the teddy bear too. I also learned two new rhymes—about clocks and a rooster...

"I'm happy and that's why I jump!" (She jumps.)

"A good big bed. Now I sleep with mommy."

- We adore you, you're our favorite sweetheart!

Natia: During the project, our municipality promised to provide Zhanna with a new wheelchair. Not electric, but more comfortable than her current one. Zhanna is struggling with this wheelchair; her sides ache because the seat has sunk. They said that as soon as they receive the new wheelchairs, they'll take Zhanna for a fitting so she can choose one that's comfortable and suitable for her. We're waiting and hoping for the best.

I dream of helping my daughter in any way possible, just to make her life easier! I still hold onto hope that someday Zhanna will be able to stand on her own two feet..
