Our creative beneficiaries

Dear
friends, we are sincerely glad that we give a wonderful possibility to the
visitors of our Day Center to show their talents. Yes, indeed, many of them
have a creative potential and it is very important to support and develop it in
them! 

“Being
socially unprotected does not mean being unable to do anything; it means that
at the moment Fortune’s wheel did not turn our way, and thanks God, your Fund
exists and gives us power to manage our troubles and struggle with
misfortunes”, – says Tamara Khizanashvili, one of our visitors.

Tamara
is an artist. She graduated from M. Toidze Art School, but still she cannot
find a job. Once she got into the complicated economic situation she could not
give up her favorite work. She draws wherever she can and embroiders old rags
with old threads. When it got very complicated she addressed for our help
and… found inspiration here. 

According
to Tamara’s words, the warm, friendly and calm atmosphere at our Day Center
gives her a possibility to show her creative nature. When she is at our Center
her muse visits her and inspires for new projects showing the character and
individual features of the person. 

Tamara
is dreaming of an exhibition where she would be able to sell her pictures, as
they are many. She paints not just portraits of our beneficiaries, but as well
portraits of famous actors and musicians. In a word, Tamara is a
portrait-painter, and if you would like to have your graphic portrait – she is
at your disposal. And we will surely arrange an exhibition of her pictures and
we hope that it will become a good financial help for Tamara and inspire her
for new creative ideas.

Dear
friends, every day our Day Center receives more than 300 people. They eagerly
come to us every day, weekend inclusive. We are glad that we managed to create
a real place of kindness which gives them a hope!
