Among the various forms of training and education of children, theater occupies a special place. It allows solving many problems of pedagogy and psychology related to moral and artistic education, development of imagination, independence and initiative. Therefore, we try to ensure that pupils of our orphanages periodically attend theater performances.
Recently, the social services agency of the Kobuleti region invited our children to the Batumi State Theater for the play “Is he a man ?!” in which children with Down syndrome participated.
The performance caused a storm of enthusiastic reactions among teenagers. They long applauded the young artists, and after the performance, the peripetias seen on the theatrical stage were discussed for a long time. The children really wanted to meet their peers, thanked them and promised to often go to their performances!
We hope that in the face of young actors, our students have made good friends from whom they can learn a lot!
Aesthetic education is essential, and the impressions of early childhood will long remain in the memory of our students. Positive emotions can heal a suffering heart!
