“I prefer this small sea more! The water is warmer and clearer here, and there are no ‘snotty’ creatures,” says 9-year-old Barbare as she jumps into the pool.
“She’s talking about jellyfish! Yuck, they’re so gross! Do they bite? Do they have teeth?” explains her twin brother, Goderdzi.
“Nah, they’re like nettles, they sting without teeth!” Barbare teaches her brother.
The children are overflowing with emotions!
They can’t even express them properly. That’s why we want to share with you our feelings and gratitude we experience as we look at our wards. They come from socially vulnerable families, and quite unexpectedly, an incredible stroke of luck has come their way – the opportunity to spend the velvet season on the seaside in Kobuleti.
They had never seen the sea before, and their joy and excitement are simply indescribable!
“When I first saw these sea waves, beaches, and heard the sound of the surf, my heart was pounding so hard that it drowned out the noise of the waves!”
“It’s impossible to describe in words. I don’t know the words to describe the joy and happiness I feel here, by the sea. I’ve imagined this moment my whole life, and I am grateful to the kind director, Dmitry Verulidze for making my dream come true.
We want to express our deep gratitude to those who made this possible.
Your kindness and generosity inspire us. This is not just a trip to the sea; it’s a life lesson about how kind hearts can change children’s world. We promise to cherish this gift and use it as inspiration for the future. Thank you for our little piece of happiness and unforgettable moments. We will never forget this velvety season!
With love and gratitude, we want to acknowledge our “kind wizards” – the organizers of this magical vacation, Mr. Dmitri Verulidze, Badri Mesxidze and Irakli Beradze, who made it possible to arrange a celebration for three families at the Iveri Sanapiro, “hotel 325” and Chveni Ezo hotels.
For the children of our Fund, they did the nearly impossible! They provided comfortable hotels, three meals a day, and various entertainment programs for the children. These families could never have afforded to go and relax like “royals”. You did everything possible and impossible to ensure that these colorful, sunny, and joyful days would brighten the grey and harsh everyday routine of these children and their mothers.
