A BEAUTIFUL DREAM OF OUR CHILDREN – A SUNSET, WAVES, AND SEAGULLS – CAME TRUE!

A BEAUTIFUL DREAM OF OUR CHILDREN – A SUNSET, WAVES, AND SEAGULLS – CAME TRUE!

MAKE A REPOST RIGHT AWAY, KIND PERSON! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!

A beautiful tan, tons of beach photos, and unforgettable memories! This is all about our children who went to the seaside. Just before the school year started, our beneficiaries – three families: the Lomidze, Andronikashvili, and Kvantaliani – received an amazing surprise: an offer to go for holidays to Kobuleti. Do I even need to mention how quickly the children packed their bags and with what excitement they traveled on their first-ever journey to the sea?!

This beautiful dream with a sunset, waves, and seagulls was a gift to the children made by three wonderful people: hotel owners

Dimitri Verulidze (“Iveri”)

Rati Megrelidze (“Edem”)

Kirill Kuzmin (“Riva”)

We extend a huge thank you to them for their kind initiative and active cooperation with the Chernovetskyi Fund! We are happy that the Fund has such wonderful and caring friends and partners.

Dimitri Verulidze gives children books

Mom Teona and her two children, Gio and Nino (the Lomidze family), live in Khashuri, three-hour drive from the sea. But this was their first trip, and it happened on Teona’s birthday! “Gio got so tanned,” jokes Teona, “that it’s hard to find him at night.”

The children swam both in the sea and in the hotel pool.

Gio (shares what he learned about the sea): “It is huge. No matter where you look – it’s the sea in every direction! And did you know it moves? I was rocking on an inflatable ring. Then I learned to swim. I don’t swim out into the deep, only across, because my mom calls me back right away.

I found a jellyfish in the water! I pulled it to shore, then released it back into the sea so it could live. I saw fish, but I couldn’t catch them with my hands. I went to the fishermen and asked how they do it. They can catch them – they had a lot in a container.

Gio: “The sea is enormous, and it sways!”

I saw the sunset—it’s a beautiful thing! Strange and beautiful, the sun looked like a red lightbulb. I saw the musical fountains. They jump—up and down—and change colors, it’s cool.

I made a lot of new friends.  Four kids from your Fund also came for vacation. I met the hotel manager, Kirill, and talked with him. I saw some foreigners, too. I met them, but I couldn’t talk to them. I just said hello – they understood that perfectly and smiled.

The children also went to an entertainment center and got lots of exciting emotions.

Kirill is a kind person. He took me and my sister to “Tsitsinatela,” an amusement park. He let me shoot at the shooting range. He gave us rides in cars and motorcycles. I’m better at riding than Nino, even though she’s older. Where have I been all this time?  The sea is such a wonderful place! Can you send me there again, please?”

Gio found many fun activities: giant chess, swings, and a walk to the musical fountains. He learned to swim and made new friends.

Mom Mariam (from the Andronikashvili family) was also overjoyed with the unexpected seaside vacation. Let’s hear what her eldest son, Gio, says.

Gio (6 years old): As soon as we arrived, even though I was tired from the trip, I ran straight into the water. And did you know that at the beach, you can just walk around in your underwear? Everyone does it, it’s allowed. The beach is great for playing. I built a lot of things there—from stones and sand. But they don’t last long, the waves come and wash everything away. Oh, I also sat under an umbrella.

I could swim both in the sea and in the hotel pool. I swam in both places. Who knows when I’ll go to the sea again?

I liked the tasty food at the hotel. We lived in a beautiful room. It’s a pity school has started; I would have liked to stay there longer”.

Gio: “I would have stayed to live by the sea, but school started.”

Mom Mariam: “We had a great vacation!  I’m so grateful to Dimitri Verulidze for inviting us, and to the Chernovetskyi Fund. They took care of us, giving us maximum attention. They fed us delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. They fulfilled Gio’s wishes. I am absolutely thrilled. My son loved the sea so much, I couldn’t get him out of the water. We took lots of pictures – on the boulevard, on the swings, at the beach…

The Kvantaliani family.

Mom: Zauri felt great at the sea, had a wonderful time, and his illness didn’t bother him at all. The whole family – both adults and children – we are grateful to the trip organizer, Rati Megrelidze, who welcomed us so warmly and hospitably.

Venera (12 years old): My sister and I threw coins into the sea to come back. Do you know that superstition? It’s so nice there. In the morning, we swim and sunbathe, and in the evening, everyone dressed up strolls along the boulevard. My sister and I also walked around, listened to music on the boulevard, danced, swung on the hammocks, and collected seashells and beautiful stones. These are the best holidays of my life!
