June Kindness Ranking – Don’t Miss It, Friends!

We, the Fund’s team, called this report “June’s Good Deeds Summary” – a summary of the enormous help you, compassionate people from Georgia and beyond (where many of you had to move for different reasons), provided over the past month. May you be happy, kind souls!  All the prayers of those in need are for you! 

The results of June exceeded all our expectations. Today, we are crying tears of joy at the Fund. How much clothing, shoes, toys, food you’ve donated… The list could go on forever.

Luka found this autumn sports jacket among the things we brought. Brand new – or almost new. Beautiful, isn’t it?

That’s for you Luka! He knows exactly what he needs – and he’s so tired of freezing in the cold.

Luka: “I’ve dreamed of this jacket for so long! But if Mom had bought it, we wouldn’t have had money for the whole year. Please send my greetings to the boy who gave it! I’d love to be friends with him. I can’t wait for autumn and winter! I want everyone to see my dream jacket!”

In Georgia – and among the families we care for – there are so many kids who’ve suffered from the lack of clothing. They gladly accept every package we bring. 

The clothes you donate open up so many possibilities for them. For children from the Bregvadze, Zurabishvili, Esebuа, Saatashvili, Otarashvili, Tediashvili, Tvildiani, and Gurashvili families – who we visited with gifts in June – it means:

• the chance not to miss school or kindergarten;
• staying warm in winter and cool in summer without suffering in inappropriate clothes;
• being able to change clothes and not wear the same thing every day;
• looking neat, presentable, and stylish;
• keeping their dignity and not feeling embarrassed.

We send a heartfelt “Madloba” — with a capital “M” — to McDonald’s at Galleria Tbilisi Mall. Twenty-five children from large families received the Happy Meal boxes they’d been dreaming of – delivered right to their homes! This warm, delicious happiness – hamburgers and fries – quickly moved from boxes into the kids’ tummies. And our little ones are truly the most grateful, emotional, and happiest fans of Happy Meals and their toys!

We also thank our loyal friends at Sandomi for providing sweets to large families. Everything disappeared in the blink of an eye! Tiny hands grabbed every treat – and even asked us for more!

The most emotional reactions came from our struggling moms when they received hygiene products and cleaning supplies. All the families who received clothes, sweets, and toys from our donors also got products from NaturLand.
