A beautiful three-year-old orphan has only a grandmother suffering from cancer, and, instead of toys, a poor little white puppy picked up in the street.

They live in desperate poverty, any second at the risk of being buried under the ruins of their own home…
It was a distressing picture to see even for the worldly-wise Fund employees. We just shuddered when we saw this little doll with huge beautiful eyes in desperate poverty, a dilapidated house, with a collapsed wall… And Nini, kept frolicking without noticing it: “Look what a puppy I have! Isn’t it wonderful?”
