For five months, Georgian doctors have been unable to diagnose this unfortunate boy. Giorgi’s time is running out! Five months ago, a completely healthy boy suddenly fell ill, and since then, the sound of death’s footsteps has grown louder and louder in the Ochkhorashvili family. The child is suffocating. He coughs so loudly it seems like his lungs are torn. He has stopped talking and makes sounds as if someone has cut his vocal cords. He can only get food and water through the tube, but he vomits it back out. The oxygen machine is the only thing keeping him alive. But for how long??? The boy’s life timer is on. Turn on the video and you will hear the sounds of death! Father Giorgi and Nikoloz and Gogi’s mother are begging for help to raise money for the trip to Germany for an examination! We will announce the cost of the surgery once we receive the papers! Lord, help! Since there are already very few of us left in Georgia….

You helped a widow with two children, significantly improved their living conditions. Gio and Nino are rejoicing and celebrating Boxing Day! Gio has been in a coma for three months. The only sign of life he shows is opening and closing his eyes. Just think how unbearable this is—a 21-year-old man has to spend his days in a hospital bed, breathing through a machine. He receives food and water through a feeding tube. But the worst part is the seizures tormenting Gio. They’re so severe they twist his arms and legs. How does he endure such suffering? How does he manage to survive? His mother is by his side 24/7, holding him tightly until each seizure passes. Heartbroken, she clings to her son’s hand and constantly talks to him, hoping he can hear her: “Gio, my son! Wake up!” Gio’s young and happy life was shattered in an instant. On September 15, 2024, he was involved in a horrific accident in Germany, where he had gone to work.  Multiple injuries to his body and organs weren’t as devastating as the blow to his chest. His heart stopped. No one gave him a chance—no guarantees, no false hopes. Doctors told his parents to pray for a miracle. And the miracle happened. Gio managed to survive. German managed to bring the boy back from the brink of death. His heart started beating again, but he didn’t regain consciousness and fell into a coma.  The diagnosis is grim—brain infarction. Fortunately, Gio still has a chance to come back to life because he has already won the biggest battle.  Please, save this young man! He won’t be able to cope without your help! 

Anna-Maria is crying from the cold. Can you imagine what a mother feels when she sees her children freezing every single day from cold and hunger? It’s nearly impossible to stay warm in their crumbling home. Instead of window glass, they have plastic sheeting. And this while a blizzard has been raging for days in the Gori district. Friends, let’s remind you that the Chernovetskyi Fund continues to collect essential items for those in need. You can share your warmth with those who truly need it, and may God bless you for your kindness! Among those waiting for your help are our new wards: one-year-old Anna-Maria, 7-year-old Barbare, 12-year-old Gio, and 15-year-old Mariam. This winter, they have no warm clothing. Five-year-old Lizzy clutched a piece of stale bread with a death grip. She’s sick, weak, suffering from cerebral palsy, and was born with a cleft lip, but no one can take the last piece of bread from her. It’s a matter of life and death. Even Lizzy understands that if she doesn’t fight for this morsel of food, she might go hungry for several days.

Gio has experienced clinical death four times in a row! Just imagine what his mother must have gone through, watching her son die in her arms—it’s a pain no one should ever endure. The harrowing fear left her with diabetes. Gio was born healthy, but life took an unexpected turn. At the age of two, he was diagnosed with epilepsy, a condition they have not been able to control. Later, more devastating diagnoses followed: cerebral palsy and autism. His condition worsens every day. He suffers up to 10 seizures daily, none of which can be stopped by medication. Gio urgently needs to undergo medical examinations and start a new treatment plan, but there’s no money for doctors. The family survives on Gio’s disability pension and social allowance, which isn’t even enough for basic food. Gio, his sister, and their mother are often left hungry. Thank God for the food provided by the social canteen; without it, they would have starved to death.
